Why did Comey choose to leak the information?

Because Trump presented multiple lies about why he fired Comey and then admitted that the reason he fired Comey was because of the Russia investigation.

In terms of this being actionable, I sincerely doubt it - especially since I have yet to see this story pop up anywhere else. So how do we know that JW's interpretation of the interview is proper or legally binding?

Either way, I have said, from day one, that if Comey ends up getting slapped on the wrist because he leaked a confidential memo written by him, to himself, and that leak ends up being the reason that Trump gets charged with Obstruction of Justice or, even better, impeached - then it will be a punishment that Comey gladly accepts and he will be remembered as a hero (and probably pardoned by the next President).

I have not read anything from a rational source that backs your claim about the President firing Comey because of the Russia investigation. That has been the ongoing spin and accusation by the left, the partisans in D.C., and the left's MSM partners, but there has yet to be any proof of that.

You're not going to get a buyer of that story from me.

 

Regardless of how you want to dismiss them, they simply use FOIA's to get information that is being withheld, or kept out of the public eye.

You'll have to come up with a better way to run from this fact, than the nonsense you did.
