Conservatives have a life outside of surfing 40 channels on a given night. You're thumping the drum of many who have gone before you, and you look equally as foolish. Yawn.... BTW, you don't win people to your way of thinking by telling them that they are idiots.
That is a fallacy, an appeal to the people. Just because a mass of people believe something doesn't make it real. Here's one example: How many times have we heard coffee, egg yolks, and alcohol are bad AND good for you? Plenty of times and it has swapped many times by scientists. Another example: The scientists believed at one time that the earth was flat. The problem with Global Warming (aka Climate Change) is not that the change isn't happening, but the reasons that it is happening and whether it is cyclical or not. No, it is not FACT that Climate Change is man-made. There are many people that disagree with that and there are models that have been shown as possibly in error of it being man-made. Has Fox News screwed up? Yes. Has MSNBC screwed up? Yes. Show me the PERFECT news channel that has NEVER made a mistake. [/quote]
Actually, you just lied, Fox News is to date (as of the latest News Channel ratings, May 18 ) the highest rated in the nation, by 1,000 points. Total Day P2+ (000s) 25-54 (000s) 35-64 (000s) FOXN 1,104 207 413 CNN 421 140 222 MSNBC 299 64 114 CNBC 147 57 77 FBN 48 11 19 HLN 223 92 114 http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2015/05/19/cable-news-ratings-for-monday-may-18-2015/405571/ TV By The Numbers is the USRA news rankings association. I hope that helped clear up your confusion.
You mean actually getting answers for a change which the current panel is doing even though the WH is still stalling. Why the stalling?
Look here to see the ratings. http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2015/05/19/cable-news-ratings-for-monday-may-18-2015/405571/ Just on Monday Fox had 3.69X more viewers than MSNBC for total day, and 3.23X more viewers for total day in the coveted 25-54 demographic. In the 35-64 range, there were 3.62X more viewers for Fox. Just sayin'...
Geez Louise ... seems to be it fairly obvious. Fox reporting news 45% to MSNBC at 15%, What part of 45 vs. 15 would a 5th grader have a hard time understanding. Unless one reads in Chinese.
Yeah ... how consistently odd.Kinda like the way MSNBC keeps a guy on as Host in Primetime { Politics nation 6pm } who has NO college degree. That'd be like having a high school dropout run for congress with a resume as an Orkin man.
Comparing Fox News to MSNBC ... Kinda like asking what is best for shaving your head - a cheese grater or a lawn mower. They'll both get the job done but they sure will mess up your head in the process.
So you're lumping network STATIONS in with cable NEWS outlets while discussing cable news outlets. Nice....What school did you learn that comparison technique from???
Hey...that gig worked for the sitting president. He lacks a resume and grades to show what he actually did on those campuses he attended under their affirmative action admission programs. Why not an Orkin Man??
Here are some references to interesting studies which quantify and compare Fox News and MSNBC for their 1) Tone 2) Objectivity 3)Political Bias, and 4) News Content. I recommend EVERYONE read both. http://hotair.com/archives/2013/03/18/pew-study-fox-news-reports-three-times-more-news-than-msnbc/ http://www.emandp.com/post/single/bias_on_msnbc_fox_news
Really??? This crap??? AGAIN?!?!? Can we have another Ayn Rand rage thread please? maybe some Sarah Palin hate too?
The post I responded to wasn't referencing Fox news, the poster Claimed Fox was tops. I corrected that post. So read what I responded to carefully. And apologize for calling me a liar.
http://www.politicalforum.com/showthread.php?t=409750&p=1065026470#post1065026470 I didn't do the lumping. The above was stated by Russ103. I just pointed out the error. Nice, huh. I guess the technique comes from trying to be accurate.
I've seen the accusation of stalling, but you'll have to ask the Repubs if and why they are doing that. Presumably, after seven attempts to contrive a scandal have fizzled, they do not wish to expedite another such blow to their partisan agenda. They'd obviously wish to prolong it, because initiating #9 would be seen as just too silly.
The WH is stalling. Why question her without all the relevant data? Dems have been defending not looking into Benghazi for quite some time. And now it turns out that she lied about only using one email address for government work.
selective information. there are times and demographics when CNN prevails on cable. most people get their news from tv .
You realize your entire post is based on leftest bigotry! How can anyone take you serious with the major slant (to the left) you have going on! You sound simply like a leftist hack!
To: perotista Being opinionated is not a crime. Both networks have their opinions and that's perfectly fine. The problem is lying. FOX lies far more and FOX ignores facts far more than MSNBC. FOX NEWS is supposed to be NEWS. MSNBC is not "NEWS". Again, MSNBC does not call itself MSNBC NEWS. Opinions are fine. Lying is NOT fine.
Once again: No one blames FOX for having an opinion. We blame FOX for lying. You keep harping about the left attacking Fox for its opinions. It's a legit attack. Right can also attack the left. You are allowed to have your opinions, but you are not allowed to make up your own twisted facts. Do you understand this better now?
