They mix the sample with reagents to turn the RNA to DNA and then heat cycle the sample to multiply the amount of DNA. The more they multiply, the better the result. There has been a shortage of the reagent and multiplying takes time. Early on, there were a lot of false negatives (which is the worst case), so our testing has gotten better. If other countries have not followed suit, then we can't compare our positive rate with theirs.

If this disease was curable today and all the way back to January of this year, the deaths would be terrible.

But they are only curable in some cases, see President Trump, Kayleigh McEnany, plus others who are cured.
And they did not die.

Point being there are people who get sick and no doctor, no treatment and no hospital saves them.

No I told the small number on this forum is all. I compared the small size of deaths to the spot of fly dung and when you factor in there the population of this country vs the number to date who died, it would look like a period at the end of a sentence statistically. Fly dung is more colorful is all. This comment has nothing to do with Trump nor Biden. We are past the number of 331 million people so my figures are accurate.
