8 GOP members caused this kerfuffle in congress from what I have read, it takes a 2/3 majority of a congressional vote to expel a member of congress... about 290-300 votes would seal the deal...the democrats are good for 212...so about 80-90 republicans would need to grow a pair ...never gonna happen I know I have NO DOUBT I will be corrected if the above is not accurate. starting with matt gaetz, , the 8 members who voted to remove McCarthy should be expelled my guess is , when 1 member is expelled, the others would fall in line and vote to confirm a speaker ...if not keep, suspend them one by one and then for good measure, finish with Jim Gym Jordan what say you??

The eight offered to accept punishment (censure, etc) before today’s vote in an effort to get Jordan elected. Of course, Jordan lost even more votes. What we’re witnessing is an attempt to completely marginalize the “Freedom”Caucus within the Party. It appears these votes were coordinated for maximum embarrassment. I suspect we’ve got some really ugly days ahead of us.
Update: Jordan’s out. He lost 38 more votes during conference secret ballot. New candidates must declare by Sunday.
How do expel all the members of the POT for stupidity who warrant it since no Repub will vote to expel him/her self?
my guess is about 25-30% of the GOP controlled congress are trump cult members if the "not crazy" members of the party would grow some cajónes and expel just ONE member of the POT the others would fold like a chair in Montgomery!!! lol
