    Congresswoman carjacked at gunpoint, 5 in custody (msn.com)

    Democratic Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon was carjacked at gunpoint in broad daylight Wednesday afternoon in south Philadelphia's largest park following a business meeting.


    I am wondering if her own constituents attacked her. OR was it random? who knows? I hope she is ok and will recover. are these people so desperate that they rob in broad day light?

    Unless you have a back-up somewhere, this (and similar) incidents will always leave us wondering what the hell happened. You can't work around that unless you are also violent, reckless with a niche in carjacking.

    No one charged yet. My opinion is that this congress woman will work to dismiss charges so that they can carjack someone else.

    Why on earth would you think that, other than, “I hate Democrats. I will make up something ridiculous and nonsensical and say that’s what a Democrat would do.”?

    It will leave liberals scratching their heads. For conservatives who understand the efficacy of stiff prison sentences for violent felons, this is exactly what we predict for progressive communities. We understand the carrot and the stick, we understand incentives, we understand action and reaction. This is common sense and no amount of college learning can teach this. I hope the people fleeing Democrat cesspools for Republican utopias understand it as well. Do not bring this insanity to our communities.

    Ridiculous to assume so? Nope. In her own mind she is privileged...being white. Systematic racism created this whole scenario. Did not white MN city council woman Lisa Bender state that a white person calling 911 on a home intruder is coming from a place of privilage? And so what we have here is Scanlon a women with same world view as Bender CALLING the police whom she advocated to defund.

    I don't think it's ridiculous to say she will forfeit her sense of security and the security of others to rebalance the privilege within our society.

    So I was right. The only thing you know about her is that she is a Democrat, and you jump to all kinds of ridiculous conclusions about how she would react.
