Hmmm, Last everyone on the planet checked, wasn't it CNN and MSNBC who lost 80% of their viewership over fake news making their ratings below the Cartoon Channel and Nickelodeon?
While Fox News ratings now have the number 1-2-3-4-and 5th highest ratings?
It would take democrats viewers to host ratings like that.

What a lazy answer. I asked for a link that proves your "facts". If you don't have one, that proves them, just say. I get to decide if I respond to anyone here. Not you.

The prosecutor wasn't looking into his son . . . and the official position of the US and our allies is that we wanted this corrupt prosecutor fired FOR HIS FAILURE TO PROSECUTE. Meanwhile, Trump tried withholding funds (illegally) to hold out for a personal favor. He directed Ukraine to his PERSONAL attorney with regards to a subject that his PERSONAL attorney had already publicly identified as a PERSONAL issue.

And if you promise to engage, I will provide them. If you can't commit to engaging, then asking me to provide them is not an honest request.

For example, you refused to engage in any of the facts I provided here.

So, when it's all been said and done, you prove you have no link that proves your "facts" for your post #150. :truce:

You may now have the next and final word to me on this thread. :bye:

If you will commit to responding to the link, I will provide it. Should be an easy ask. We both know why you won't respond to it.

Yes, now that you have admitted that you aren't willing to discuss any of the links I provide, we can both agree there is nothing to discuss. You've admitted that I'm willing to provide links and that you are unwilling to address them.

You seem to be under the delusion that quantity amounts to quality or integrity.

And then he got repaid lol
    Trump admits it.
Even still, him paying it doesn’t change that it was a campaign donation

Gop is not conservative. I'm wondering if they weren't behind the indictment. McConnell and Graham hate Trump and desperately want DeSantis to be their supplicant.

Don't get pulled into this nonsense. GOP is just 5 years behind the DNC

That’s not true. Any money spent for the campaign is campaign funds. Why do you think he billed his campaign for office space in his building?

OMG You really don't know what campaign funds are.
Campaign funds are political donations, or funds raised to promote candidates, and political parties.

The FEC doesn't govern how you spend your own money.
Where do you guys get this stuff from. lol

Here, you can read from the FEC itself.

Using campaign funds for personal use is prohibited.

Commission regulations provide a test, called the "irrespective test," to differentiate legitimate campaign and officeholder expenses from personal expenses. Under the "irrespective test," personal use is any use of funds in a campaign account of a candidate (or former candidate) to fulfill a commitment, obligation or expense of any person that would exist irrespective of the candidate’s campaign or responsibilities as a federal officeholder.

More simply, if the expense would exist even in the absence of the candidacy or even if the officeholder were not in office, then the personal use ban applies.

Conversely, any expense that results from campaign or officeholder activity falls outside the personal use ban.

    It’s considered a campaign expenditure

An expenditure is a purchase, payment, distribution, loan, advance, deposit or gift of money or anything of value to influence a federal election

Do you even read what you provide?
Maybe if you took a second to read the paragraph just above what you posted, you would have known better.
    Here it is for you.

While campaigns have wide discretion in deciding how to spend their funds, the Federal Election Campaign Act places certain restrictions on the use of campaign funds.

Disbursements must be made by check or similar draft drawn on an account maintained at the committee’s designated depository.

By definition, the Federal Election Campaign Act allows campaign funds to be used for purposes in connection with the campaign to influence the federal election of the candidate.

The major provision of the House rules on proper use of campaign funds is found in the House Code of Official Conduct, which is set forth in House Rule XXIII. House Rule XXIII, clause 6 provides as follows:

A Member, Delegate, or Resident Commissioner –

    (a) shall keep his campaign funds separate from his personal funds;

    (b) may not convert campaign funds to personal use in excess of an amount representing reimbursement for legitimate and verifiable campaign expenditures; and

    (c) except as provided in clause 1(b) of rule XXIV, may not expend funds from his campaign account that are not attributable to bona fide campaign or political purposes.

    Jesus dude.

    dude....

I'm sorry, but using the fact that a judge is not present in the room during the preliminary hearing as an argument to deny there being any judge's involvement in the entire Grand Jury process is one of the single most illogical arguments I have ever seen anyone try to make on these forums(which FYI, the preliminary hearing comes AFTER the vote to indict, it's basically a pre-trial that determines if the case is brought to full trial). And the fact that you didn't link the source, but tried to use a brief sipping of the source makes me believe that you either A. Did not bother to read your source beyond that, or B. Intentionally excluded an accessible link to the source to avoid anyone seeing the related information that was listed on that very same website.. in fact, it appears that you left out the header which specifies that the paragraph is describing the preliminary hearing...you literally excluded the header... if we're going to have a serious and rational discussion here, we simply cannot have posts like that

Sure he can. So where did he reimburse him and how?
A: through his business which he claimed were legal fees.
I’m glad you see the issue now.

Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison for tax evasion, making false statements to a federally insured bank, and campaign finance violations.
Cohen’s payment he helped arrange for McDougal flouted the ban on corporations contributing directly to campaigns. Which would be illegal campaign contributions.

    Aww you missed one.
    • 1 count of making an excessive campaign contribution at the request of a candidate or campaign

    that one is stormy.
But I’m glad to see you admit the enquirer payment was also an illegal campaign expenditure

There is no charge for making a campaign contribution at the request of a candidate or campaign.
    You just made that up
There is a charge of making a campaign contribution in excess of $2700

    Nobody paid the enquirer. lol
The enquirer paid the fees to McDougal.

Maybe you should look up information from sites that are not edited by the public.
    Just a thought.

You are confused to what the different campaign finance laws cover.
Cohen was charged with 2 counts of violating campaign finance laws by paying over $2700 in support of a candidate.
    One count for paying Daniels
One count for getting the enquirer to pay McDougal
