Could an ancient Islamic prediction hold the key to uniting humanity around a goal that could pull the world economy out of what sure looks like an impending Bear Market, (another 1929)?

Making money abundant could fit with what Economist Milton Friedman advocated...... an unconditional but taxable Basic Minimum Income that could be given to all citizens....... that in theory could be used to pay off the national debts of the United States, Canada, Israel and Australia within one year......... (if people could come to understand the sheer brilliance in these ideas)?!

I am hopeful that this all could be initiated here in Canada......
and I would not even rule out the possibility of this emerging out of either Canada's political left.....or the political right??????

    Dear Dennis,

The North represents one of Canada’s greatest opportunities but for too long has been treated as an afterthought.

While I was travelling through Nunavut, Yukon and the Northwest Territories over the past weeks, I saw a beautiful land with great promise. The people are warm, generous and resourceful.

Unfortunately, Justin Trudeau has neglected the North – not one of his Cabinet ministers has been from the North since 2016. It seems he doesn’t care about their input, only their votes.

The region has many security, shipping and resource advantages too. For years, we’ve been watching authoritarian states like Russia brazenly try to stake claim to huge areas of the North Pole and Arctic Ocean.

We are the only country in North America to share a border with Putin’s Russia – and that border has long been challenged by Putin.

It’s a problem that Canada has appeared so weak and unreliable on the world stage under Trudeau. It’s embarrassing to watch Canada publicly singled out for falling far below our defence spending commitments every time NATO nations meet.

He has failed to properly fund our Canadian Armed Forces. He has made a mess of our military procurement system, and he has left our troops without the modern equipment they need to defend Canada at home and abroad.

The two new polar icebreakers promised by Trudeau are plagued by delays and costing taxpayers billions more than original estimates. But that’s not surprising when it seems everything the Liberals touch results in delays and major cost overruns.

Meanwhile Russia and China are bolstering their own icebreaker fleets.

Trudeau’s incompetence has left our territory exposed and our military sadlydependent on other countries, and even civilians, for support.

In the years to come, the free and democratic world will need to continue to strongly oppose the aggression of states like Russia and China, but who will take Canada seriously when we can’t even defend our own borders? And what ally would trust us to defend theirs?

As former Prime Minister Harper once said, “Sovereignty over one’s territory is not a theoretical concept. It is earned and retained by being present, by having planes in the air, ships in the sea and, most importantly, boots on the ground.”

As Canada’s next Prime Minister, I will restore Canada’s credibility on the world stage and put forward a serious plan for the North that is backed up by action and financial commitments.

I will fix our broken procurement system and make investments for modern equipment for the Canadian Rangers, the Royal Canadian Navy and the Canadian Coast Guard so they can decisively defend our Northern coastline.

I will treat our Northern communities with respect by making sure they keep more of their natural resource revenues. I will help them build new critical infrastructure like roads, housing, airports, and water and sewage facilities – we need to close the gap on the basic necessities that Northerners have lived without for so long. I will also lower the cost of fuel and food by cancelling the Carbon Tax.

The world needs a stronger Canada. Enough empty promises and defence freeloading. We are the True North, Strong and Free. It’s time for Canada to prove it by committing to defend our country, our people and our sovereignty from coast to coast to coast.

    Sincerely,

In my opinion things could not get much worse than they are at this moment.........

Biden's advisors and script writers and Trudeau's advisors and script writers sure seem to know how to set in motion a hyper -inflationary recession or even full fledged Depression?!

Do Biden's advisors and Trudeau's advisors seem to want to crash the markets?

Can you answer me this question.........?

If a quadrillion USA petro-dollars was added to the world economy in 2023, ( when I assume the corruption clean up begins in ernest ) ......
at the same time that two quadrillion dollars worth of milk, beef, goat milk and goat meat was added to the world economy........
would net inflationary pressure be automatically put on the world economy??????

Would it be worth an investment of a quadrillion USA petro - dollars in a sincere and updated effort to actually save the world environment from the silly Carbon Tax Scheme put forward by Mr. Al Gore that has given Mr. Bill Gates the impression that we must "Innovate to zero?????"

We’re talking about our currency, not a world currency. It’s likely more complicated than that. You can’t print beef, corn, land, water, or oil. It’s not just added to the world economy the same way a currency is.

    Are you sure of that........

the USA dollar is the world reserve currency and this is not an entirely negative scenario for three hundred and sixty million American citizens.

Trump's desire to reduce the deficit. Can someone explain to me how this is a good thing?

The more you add uncertainty to our currency specially with inflationary instability you will find our currency drop that title. You can’t do that without adverse effects.

    That is an excellent point.....
the world stock exchanges and money markets go up and down based largely on OPTIMISM vs Pessimism........

and it sure looks to me as if Biden's advisors and Trudeau's advisors want the investor class in America, Canada and the whole world to be far, far, far, far, far more PESSIMISTIC THAN OPTIMISTIC!?

I personally think very differently than Biden's advisors and Trudeau'a advisors seem to be thinking................................ Could I be wrong...... yes....... because I could be off on what the world's investor class can handle intellectually?????

Can the national debt of the USA be paid off in one year?

Do Muslims have a deep respect for Moses?

Yes... many Muslims can see the sheer brilliance in the following statement!

Robert Thomas Malthus....... was NOT a stupid man!

In spire of his many, many, many, many flaws.... .and his rather obvious intellectual Pride......

he seems to have basically caught onto hidden positive.... as well as negative potential meaning in that verse in Genesis!

His theory of Malthusian Catastrophe is based on the valid potentially NEGATIVE meaning in that passage in Genesis eleven.

We humans can be off the scale DESTRUCTIVE if we agree on a less than positive goal....... and can trouble shoot potential solutions to problems in a common language..... (Mathematics and Economics are actually languages..... in a sense..... that influential people in all nations to at least some degree have in common with each other)!

I am Libertarian.... so I disagree with the approach that Mr. Bill Gates and Trudeau seem to be taking that only the negative meaning of that verse in Genesis is valid.........

I am very much into the power of human choice to set in motion a shockingly positive future over the coming decades..... and century or so........

Was Moses - Moshe a brilliant economist?

I am truly thankful to have read what former Atheist and near death experiencer Howard Storm wrote about this years ago. His book, My Descent Into Death was truly brilliant.
