The prominent conservative group Club for Growth has criticized former President Trump for his approach to Social Security, arguing the former president has the same policy as President Biden. “Joe Biden and Donald Trump have the same plan for Social Security: Cut 20 percent or more,” a new ad from the group said. While some GOP figures have signaled a willingness to consider reforms to Medicare and Social Security, others, like Trump, have attacked them for that stance, saying they would not make any changes to the programs and framing it to voters as a plan to cut their benefits. “Under no circumstances will we allow anyone to cut Medicare or Social Security for our nation’s seniors!” Trump said in a speech last month. [https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/3966074-club-for-growth-knocks-trump-on-social-security-plan/] Whether Trump will also parrot fellow Senior Citizen Biden in other matters where Republicans espouse very unpopular positions - reproductive rights, firearm safety, etc. - remains to be seen.
His being a charismatic cult leader and a ruthless bully will get him the nomination. Not even DeSanctimonious can stop the Trump Train. But it will inevitably go off another cliff come the general election.
The Cry Baby Loser's only threat may be from someone who could bitchslap him silly at his own sordid game.
Trump has always been far more in tune with American voters than the RP establishment. The RP is often referred to as The Stupid Party -- for good reasons. The RP should never tamper with any entitlement unless their plan will transfer much more money, power and independence to the recipients.
The disparity exposes his willingness to abandon conservative ideological principles for votes, but his pandering to the hoi polloi will still not extend beyond his weird worshipers who fell for his lies regarding the 2020 presidential election that he will repeat in 2024. He knows he controls them no matter what he says or does. Donald Trump Says He 'Could Shoot Somebody' and Not Lose …
In fact, Donald Trump has always been a champion of the progressive movement in America. He has never been a "conservative".
As an evangelical Christian myself I want to see how Evangelical Christian nominate in GOP primary. Since Trump was nominated in 2016, evangelical Christians said “ we had no choice, Hilary will kill baby, Biden will kill baby, so we had to vote for Trump”. Well , evangelical Christians in America, now you have a choice to nominate a person who is Christian and represent Christian value in his everyday life. There are at least few already running who are “ evangelical Christians” themselves, who doesn’t say “ I don’t need God’s forgiveness” . Lets see if evangelical Christians can find ONE American Christian who don’t “grab woman by..” to represent them.
