Islam teaches its adherents that they should not seek judgment from other than what God has revealed:

Devout Muslims try their best to refrain from going to settle their disputes in secular courts of law. There is a similar teaching in the Christian Bible:

Christians were advised, in the early days of Christianity, to avoid seeking judgment from the courts of law set up by the State; instead to settle their disputes through the Church. However, nowadays it seems Christians have virtually thrown this teaching behind their backs.

I personally do not believe in seeking judgment from a court of law of any state; I do not recognize the legal systems of any of these States as being in accordance to the divinely revealed Laws of God.

I think all Believers should avoid as much as possible participation in the secular legal systems of the world. That means not making any lawsuits, not serving on jury duty, not becoming judges or lawyers.

In fact, I think that true Believers should as much as possible avoid any service or participation in any institution of the State, including police, any government department or agency, etc.

The essential message of Faith is to stay away from the State and its institutions, to be aloof from participation in any celebration that is connected to the State (such as independence day); instead to await the coming Kingdom of God on Earth (the Messianic State) which will replace all the currently governments and states in the world.

    وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنفُوشِ

And the mountains will be like wool; fluffed up (Sura 101:5)

The meaning of the root J-B-L from which Jibaal (mountains) is derived is: "population; crowd; multitude" (Arabic-English Dictionary of Qur'anic Usage; p. 153)

"And the great nations comprising multitudes of people shall become like shorn, carded wool."

    Throughout the Holy Qur'an there is the theme of mountains vanishing or crumbling (Sura 52:10; 56:5; 69:14; 70:9; 73:14; 77:10; 78:20; 81:3)

In the Bible, mountains represent large nations as well.
