The SUSA data was collected yesterday and today (03/18-03/19).

Remember, this is just one poll, but the results are nothing less than, well, ****ing scary.

This would mean in immediate jump in unemployment from 3% to 9%, literally overnight.

It's not totally unexpected as the travel industry is completely shutting down, cities are shutting-down, borders are closing and people are quarantaining.

The jobs Report at the beginning of April is going to be a doozy. This is surely going to get far worse by then.

We're going to see some big changes over the next few months, also probably kickstart manufacture in the west as countries try to increase supply of masks and other items needed in the crisis, this will then evolve as the situation is fluid. Get ready for big career changes for some people.
Don't expect borders to be as open as they were before, even after the event, instead the world is more likely to remain cautious on biological threats for years to come.

Trump pulled us out of the Biden/Obama stagnant malaise of 8 years.

And what I've been warning of, has come to pass. And if these measures last for an even longer duration of time, it will get even worse. This plan *has* to work, because the consequences of it not working? *Shudder*, I'll leave it to people's imaginations.
