So if I understand your logic, we should have a ton of gun controls laws or even perhaps ban all guns so those who abide by the law, do what? Abide by the law. You gave criminals a free pass from abiding by the law and apparently those folks are the only ones you want to own guns, not legal gun owners. Or perhaps I should have said have guns. Unless I misunderstood your logic, I see no logic. I own guns and have since I was twelve when my dad bought me my first .410. So why should I, a law abiding citizen have to obey the law with all these regulations when criminals do not? Why shouldn't the law abiding citizen get the free pass instead of the criminal? After all the law abiding citizen obeys the laws, not the criminal. Am I missing something?
Ron. How does a gun -- any gun, get from one place to another? Hint: It isn't the guns that are moving over State lines. How does a gun come to become loaded with ammunition, prepared for firing, and discharged in the direction of another person? Hint: It isn't the guns that are doing the killing. Again and again and again, the empty headed, emotionally driven regressives are attacking inanimate objects, and the ability of decent Americans to own them. Take care of your CRIMINALS, and get back to us.
Ron I was wondering if you had a response to my post. Especially since I essentially refuted your premise. I mean you do recognize the difference between all guns used in city crimes and traceable guns yes?
Depending on how one reads the data, and applies it, the crime in question could simply be nothing more than possession of a firearm without a permit issued by the state of New York. In other words, most of the cited crimes could simply be issues relating to paperwork, rather than murders. But even if this is now the case, and ninety percent of the firearms found on criminals can be tied to murders, or drive-by-shootings, that still translates to the state of New York possessing a significant population size that are criminals, and doing nothing about them being free on the streets where they can do the most harm.
