HANDLER, AZ - A Chandler man has been arrested after he allegedly molested and had sexual intercourse with the friend of a young teenage daughter at his home.
According to court documents, 40-year-old Anthony Jerome Slaughter provided marijuana to the girls and smoked it with them during a sleepover March 16.
The girls went to bed in the daughter's room and at some time during the night Slaughter went into the bedroom, picked up his daughter's friend and took her to the living room where he molested her and engaged in sexual intercourse.
Police say Slaughter sent the girl back to bed, but 10 minutes later went into the bedroom and again molested the girl and engaged in sexual intercourse.
Slaughter's daughter reportedly walked into the room but walked back out when she saw what was happening.
In the morning, the victim walked into the kitchen where Slaughter gave her two shots of an unknown alcoholic beverage and they made breakfast for the family.
Police say Slaughter lives with his wife, four daughters and a niece but that he and his wife had had an argument and she left the home, not returning until the next day.
Slaughter was arrested in Chandler on Tuesday as he drove to meet the victim for another sexual contact.
He admitted to investigators he had had sexual contact with the victim and said he would like to do it again.
Slaughter reportedly had marijuana with him which the victim had allegedly asked him to bring for her.
He was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on four counts of sexual conduct with a minor, two counts of child molestation, one count of furnishing obscene material to a minor, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Court officials say Slaughter is being held without bond.
