The daily show with JS is a great news source with the same spin I would have. No BS spin from broadcast media propaganda.

 

I just like Stewart because he calls BS on a lot of the propaganda you see parroted on certain TV networks and by some of the extremists that post on this forum.

 

Either religion isn't political or all religions are you can't claim just Islam is without accusing at least Judaism and Christianity of the same. Some religious people though, use the teachings of their faith as a means to an end, for example gaining significant power and control over people, if they can convince god fearing flocks of people that, his or her's (usually a his) political and religious views are the legitimate will of their creator or their prophets then it's not hard to see why extreme Islam has such an effect on its people.

Religions like Islam and Judaism and Christianity, tend to form communities where they were more heavily influenced by their faith than the majority of the country's population. Where as most are focusing on how to live their lives, how to get a wife, a job, a house ect, you'll have smaller fringe communities whom take their religion to the next level and are influenced by such individuals I described in the paragraph above. To people who are influenced in this way, their religion is usually the primary concern of their day to day life, it's probably shoved down their throats by strong-men in the community, there's a form of shame the community places on families for not strictly complying with the communities religious and political views, and even things such as honour killings.

To say that all Muslims are born and bred to take over the world is poppycock to be frank, it's comparable to Hitlers conspiracies of the Jews trying to take over the world. I'm now to believe we're on the verge of seeing Nazi styled individuals in society becoming more common, pushed by the economic crisis, is history to repeat? Only instead of Jews, it's Muslims who'll be in the extermination camps... well they're already being bombed the hell out of by the U.S and their own fanatics... (*)(*)(*)(*) what a life, and yet all's some people here can do is condemn anyone of their faith... Very short sighted, that kind of thinking would have fitted right in with nazi ideology.

As Stewart mentioned, the outrage on the right is VERY uneven.

 

You do realize that Fox News has the highest viewership of any cable news channel right? 3 times more viewers watch Fox than MSNBC.

The reason you didn't know anything besides your own liberal viewpoint is because you are insulated by other liberals, and you can't stand to have your leftist ideology challenged.

 

Stewart is a comedian, not a journalist. Not a statistician. Not a political commentator. He gets paid to read off jokes written by a room full of writers.

It's hilarious how liberals take him seriously as their news source of choice (when they aren't busy reading HuffPo, that is). He is typical of the kind of attitude that leftists have today. No evidence or point is necessary... just a sarcastic smartass remark, and they expect a room full of people to start applauding and cheering, just like in Stewart's show. The way liberals circle jerk each other for support, I wouldn't put it past them to applaud each other after every nonpoint they spit out.
