Dashcam video appears to show Fort Worth cop shooting man in the back

They do not want you to say that you are grateful. They want you to show that you are by recognizing that there is more to it than superficial analysis and second guessing. They are tired of doing a thankless job with the very people that they serve the most sticking the knives in their backs.

 

So what if they kill a few innocents folks, everyone should just look the other way and give them a pass.

 

I'm entitled to an opinion based on what I see.

 

Absolutely not! We have a system for enforcing laws against anyone who violates them. You may have heard of it, the criminal justice system.

And then, if it is a police officer who is suspected of doing so, we have an additional system for enforcing against those people, called the U. S. Justice Department. The consequences of killing any innocent folks are severe.

 

You absolutely ARE entitled to an opinion. Just please don't be offended if people who know more about these things than you do disagree with it.

 

So why do we see these officer keep getting off the hook.

Your right if they are convicted, but unfortunately we don't see that happen to often.

 

I thought that we had answered that question previously. There are a couple of reasons:
1) Your inquiry is result driven, that is, you seek a certain result and consider only the facts that lead to the result that you demand, whereas the justice system is fact driven. It assembles ALL of the facts and is content with the result that the facts demand.

2) You make judgments, notwithstanding that you are not a judge, based upon assumptions of the existence of circumstances that you cannot possibly, and do not, know. When you do these things, you are doomed to fail.

And finally, there are overwhelmingly altruistic police officers out there who risk their lives every day and night to protect people who are clueless as to the sacrifices that those police officers make for them, and relentlessly ungrateful (notwithstanding their exclamations of gratitude).

Your point number 2: What evidence is being withheld (circumstances that could not be known) ?

In this case, the victim did not run, did not point anything at any officer and was shot within 5 seconds of the officer leaving the car. No sound on video (even though posters in this thread have stated that the victim disobeyed orders!). Yet with all this evidence, that officer is now back on duty.

 

Are those folks the NBPP?

I condemn them for their racist, KKK-equivalent platform, but I defend their right to both legally bear arms and be morons.

It is of course not true.
He was never fleeing, he never ducked down behind a bush.

White cops, lying and trying to kill black people.
Rather typical. Even the part that they are getting away with it.
And why there is no sound... yeah them cops probably "fixed" that too.

Charges of aggravated assault on a public servant were dropped.
So that means,.. they just shot a totally innocent person with no reason.

Takes half a year for the cops to publish the video, while the police review is still a top secret.

I don't know about a KKK police force, but isn't NYC and LA considered as liberal and look at the history of their police forces.
