Mondale, then Dukakis kept the Democrats under control of the left until Slick Willie Clinton. 1968-1992 with Carter the only break. That's a long time in the wilderness.

Of course the Brits in Americas had slave plantations but they were technically not British. We didn't have slave plantations in UK like you guys had in America. That was my point. You even had laws that stated all black folk will be enslaved in Americans that black folk are technically not fully human.
