Deliberative Vs Radical Democracy

    The crucial debate in democratic theory these days seems to be between radical democrats and deliberative theories of democracy yet neither model is gaining much prominence in actual political systems.

    Deliberative democracy has seen some application in terms of citizen participation.

    I just wonder what members think about these ideas and why they are not more widespread in terms of concrete political practice.
