I appreciate the try, but I don't see the screen shot of the original statement or video or tweet that you quoted. Where did that come from? Why can we get a screen shot of the second tweet but not the first? So I found it. And even with full context, he still proves reasons why I wont vote for him in 2020 either. Taxation is theft, if its on imported goods or on Gas or cigarettes

You are shocked when parties side with their own members? Really? Like how when someone in the democrat party throws out anti-Semitism and the left ignores the statements? But when Trump said pretty much the same thing, the left condemned him?

Right, like how Obama's ancestors held slaves, yet no one condemned him or his white side for the actions of 100 years ago, yet still want reparations to be paid by the rest of white America. There is no need to bring race into this, it was idiotic of Trump to try this, about as dumb as sending Iran billions of cash on Obama's last day or when Obama gave a failing solar company $500million after they contributed to his campaign. Don't try to play as though you are objective.

You mean 'your' bias as in insisting for a link for recent, widely distributed material?

No, I was looking for confirmation. I had to find it because your biased thought everyone saw what you've seen. Even the first link provided only showed the follow up tweet. I found the original tweet, you know like finding evidence and not just relying on taking the word of someone you agree with. That's called objectivism. I agreed that Trump is wrong, that's why I am NOT biased. You bring out race into the discussion even when there is nothing to do with race at all about this story what so ever, that's why you ARE biased.

No you were looking for confirmation of your bias because you didn't like the fact that I put forward the notion. The bias that you see is your own.

The cash sent to Iran had been confiscated in 1978 during the hostage crisis. The hostages were released in 1981 yet we refused to return their assets. What was agreed to during the negotiotations for the Iran Nuclear deal during the Obama administration was to RETURN the confiscated assets after three decades. Why do people like you keep advancing the blatant LIE that Obama decided to send Iran billions of US taxpayer dollars for no good reason? Come on man.

He's done very well by the Economy. But there comes a point of
no return.I really think he's sometimes feels like he's invincible.
And Guys like Limbaugh are not helping matters.
Limbaugh and Mike Gallagher are so in love with virtually everything
Trump says and does it's gotten to the point of being fanaticism.
Trump Fanatics. That can often not end well.Unless one is a Mother
Teresa or Pope John Paul.Trump will never he able to amass the crowds
that Pope John Paul managed. No even close.Because Pope John Paul
was a Saint and a very Great human being.
Trump has a lot to learn { still } about Greatness.
Not just of the Sean Hannity,Mark Levin and Bill Cunningham variety.
Where the words " The Great one " are tossed around like pretzels
    at a super bowl party.

I heard a pundit yesterday ask how come there was no mention
of Reparations while Obama was POTUS.Or very little mention.
Because Obama was shielded { protected as if some Last Emperor
from the Forbidden City }.Is what.Is how.

On a substantive note there is a National Emergencies act.
Woodrow Wilson used one before it ever became an Act { in 1976
and signed by Gerald Ford }.
In 1917 Wilson declared a National Emergency when " the insufficiency of
Maritime tonnage to carry the products of the Farms, the Forest,Mines
and Manufacturing industries of the United States to their consumers
abroad and in the U.S. "
    Same basic principle here.
So technically Trump has some law on his side when invoking "
" I have the absolute right to do that ". In regards to invoking a National
    Emergency.
From 1976 - 2007 there has been 42 such invoking of the Act.
So Trump may be a bit rusty at the board game - Monopoly -
but no too bad at Invoking.
    Trump knows how to Invoke.

The only thing corporate CEO's like better than having Washington tell them what to do, is for a "F*****g Moron" to tell them. The business big guns have never trusted Trump. Now they pretty much share Rex Tillerson's observation. It's hard to imagine the "F" bombs and other colorful language flying around boardrooms these days. I would love to watch.

I expect this behavior from partisans. I just think it's useful to point out that people are being partisans, not acting on some sort of coherent principle. Happens on the left, too.

Congress needs to get its ass in gear and make it much more difficult and tax expensive for US corporations to manufacture on foreign soil, and make it easier and tax cheap to manufacture in the USA.
