I have said this time and time again. Democrats are the new racists. They are the only party making race based bills that intentionally is intended to hurt people based on race. I’ve seen democrats run on taxing based on race, free money based on race, and now a criminal system based on race. Like they forgot the constitution doesn’t allow for racial inequalities.

I have said this time and time again. If you want to make sure your kids are judged by their race, figuratively and literally, make sure you vote democrat. The Republican Party does not want you. We fought racism in the 1800’s and we will fight racism now.

if true, it's wrong, race should not be considered when sentencing... or religion or gender

    "“Good Christians” get lighter sentences"

    https://rcwilkinson.com/2019/05/21/good-christians-get-lighter-sentences/

"pastor David Lynn Richard Jr convicted of raping his adopted teenage daughter. "

"Amanda Richards described sexual abuse that started at age 14 and continued until she reported the crimes to police at age 16."

"The District Attorney asked for the maximum sentence of 72 years. However, the judge chose to sentence Richards to 12 years. What was the reason given for such a light sentence? David Richards was a “Good Christian.”"

The first sentence is on topic and I agree. The last was a diversion from the topic. However I’ll bite…. Yes that was wrong to determine min or max based on religion however it wasn’t a law that would require all judges to give more lax rulings to all Christians. It’s still a very different scenario

It may very well be law and is an obvious and clear forward attempt to do so.

So this is a literal racist bill that exceeds any judicial law even during Jim Crow and no response?
