Dem Rep: Obama Will Have "Very Tough Time" Winning Re-Election Rep. Pete DeFazio (D-Ore.) slams president Obama in an interview with KGW in Portland. From the KGW report: Asked whether he thought the President had a shot at re-election, Defazio was skeptical. At this point it pretty much depends on how far out there the Republican nominee is. You know with a respectable--someone who is a little bit toward the middle of the road--Republican nominee, hes going to have a very tough time getting re-elected, said DeFazio. Hes also not convinced the President will do well in Oregon. I believe Oregon is very much in play. I mean we are one of the harder hit states in the union, particularly my part of the state. I've just done six town hall meetings, have seven to go but people are shaking their heads and saying 'I don't know if Id vote for him again.' Defazio said. Asked if he was surprised, the congressman shrugged. Not at all," DeFazio said. "One guy asked me, 'Give me 25 words what he's about and what hes done for me.' Im like, 'It could have been worse.' http://www.realclearpolitics.com/vi...nt_seem_to_have_an_ounce_of_fight_in_him.html This is plain to see except for the PF apologists. Those who live in a MSNBC news bubble will be shocked in Nov. of 2012. _
I'm not seeing people who are claiming that Obama is indestructible. This guy's opinion is rather non-unique: Obama has a tough road to get re-elected. Can't argue with that and I don't see anyone who is.........
Well, you're probably going to see a Hispanic VP on the Republican ticket......or maybe even a Hispanic female......so take heart.
The better candidate (according to my judgment) will always get my vote. That means I need to know what my choices are before I decide. There are Republican candidates I would probably vote for, but I don't know who will emerge.
