First of all, playing an instrument relies on an entirely different area of the brain.
There are numerous cases of folks with severe brain problems, autism, damage, that can play instruments magnificently. I knew a mentally disabled guy who had perfect pitch.

If Biden had early stages of dementia, it would be uncommon because it normally starts in the 60s and would be much worse by the 80s. So, if he had it, he would likely be unable to deliver the speech as he did on SOTU.

i was a caregiver to people with dementia for three years. They were all in their 80s and 90s, and would mumble a lot, and could barely recognize their adult children who came to visit them. No way in hell could any of them memorize a speech, let alone deliver it on national television, that's utterly nuts to even suggest it, and that you are suggesting it, tells me you know NOTHING about the subject. Moreover, normally dementia, Alzheimer's, etc., sets in earlier in life, the 60s , maybe earlier. If Biden had it, it would be more likely that it started earlier in his 60s and would be full blown by now, and that just isn't the case.

When we join the military, we sign on the dotted line which allows the military to put us at risk. However, we expect the military and the civilians who are putting us at risk, to minimize that risk consistent with the mission. In none of those cases you mention did I see anything so fowled up as the withdrawal from Afghanistan. I don't remember anything like civilians running down a taxiway in front of a military aircraft with risk of run over or sucked into the engine or abandoning a perfectly good air base and then trying to evacuate out of a non=secure airfield or people falling out of the wheel well at several thousand feet.

We took the risk, but believed that someone would get their head out of their a$$ before they told us to do it.

 

Drugs can do amazing things to bring short spurts of clarity to someone not with it. Me thinks some people here haven’t seen what the effect of these drugs are.
