Given his bizarre and unprofessional behavior it's time to have Trump's mental state evaluated and remove him from office. There are too many important global and national issues to trust Trump with the safety and prosperity of the United States.

Honestly I don't see this going anywhere. Mainly because it would be the foundation to use against democrats in the future. Just think about if Hillary decided to run again in 2020 for president. There was already signs of her health deteriorating in this last election. Imagine if she actually wins. This would be flipped on her so fast that she would get whiplash. I don't think the democrat party would actually want to risk that.

The votes aren't there and they won't be there in two years either. But if it keeps Trump on the defensive, I am fine with the effort.

This is going to be so much fun to monitor. Trump, by his strange behavior, is splashing around in a big deep vat of fecal material.

Remember when the Electoral College was supposed to vote against Trump? This is the same tilting at windmills. It's easier to impeach a President than use the 25th Amendment.

No, it's not. All it takes is for the Vice President and the majority of the Cabinet to declare the President unfit to serve. It's specifically designed for quick implementation given the gravity of the President's duties.

If they use this Amendment and aren't able to prove it conclusively, they basically brought the country to a constitutional crisis for their own political gain. You'd basically be celebrating us being a banana Republic. Just ride out the dude, we survived Bush didn't we?

Bush looks like Winston Churchill and Thomas Jefferson rolled into one now. I bow before his greatness, character and imposing intellect now that I know what feeble minded, inept and amoral means comparatively. We became a banana republic when Trump took his oath.

No, it doesn't. Read your own link, all of it, not only what you want to see. All it takes is the VP and cabinet to declare the President unfit to serve. All it takes after that is the President to tell the Senate Pres. Pro Tempore (Orrin Hatch) that he's fit to serve. I'm sure Trump has Hatch as a cell phone contact.

After that it takes the Vice President, 2/3rds of the House, and 2/3rds of the Senate to have the VP assume the President's powers. Even then, the President is STILL the President, just with no powers. The President is not removed from office. The VP is then the "Acting President", not President. An interesting quirk is the Senate Pres. Pro Tempore becomes the acting Vice Pres. This isn't written anywhere but it has precedent. Successfully invoking clause 4 of the 25th Amendment means Acting President Mike Pence and Acting Vice President Orrin Hatch. Will liberals dance in the street?

For the VP to become President, look at Section 1 of the 25th Amendment. The President has to die or resign, or be convicted in an impeachment trial (not in the Amendment).

If both houses of congress can find a way to keep that nutcase in check for another 3 1/2 years that would be fine; however given his refusal to take advice of his advisers/cabinet it's highly unlikely he would follow through and in that case I cannot blame congress if they vote to remove him. As for partisan action against the democrats down the road, this could force them to put up candidates who are realistic and honest just as the same standards would apply to the republicans as well. I think everyone wins in this case.

I don't want any more political upheaval, but I have to say that this is the greatest burn in political history. We've had our disagreements in the past, but this made me smile. It's unfortunate Trump has many feeling this way, if he stops tweeting that'd be a step in the right direction. If Congress passed bills for him to sign, that'd be good as well.

The only people who "feel that way" are the America-hating left, Fake News media, and America-hating terrorist and euroslime nations.

    "Hillary by a landslide"
"The Dems are taking back Congress from the obstructionists!"
"We will win this special election and change the state! (0-4)"
    "Trump will be impeached!"

Yea, the alt left's predictions haven't quite been on point so far.

And it's nationwide, and at the state/local level(s) as well. Five lost post-presidential special elections in a row.

Fewest dem state governments since 1935. And they still want to blame "the Russians".

Anti depressants are gonna be in high demand after CNN feeds them the blue wave 2018 landslide nothing burgers, just to wake up to see the American people totally reject them... Again....

The last thing they will do is hold there own people to a standard. If they had standards, they wouldn't rig elections, cheat in debates, and rig polls.

I imagine anyone with standards at the dnc, gets the Seth Rich treatment.

This new subversion front tells us the Russian Conspiracy is dead and they are grasping for their next campaign. This will go no where, so they better get to cooking up their next fake news story.

We see him differently so I see that notion differently. I see him as a threat to the country and its democratic principles. I therefore fear him having any power or influence. Regretfully this means he cannot be seen as ever having any success stories or 'wins' to his credit. While I have historically supported bipartisan legislative compromise and cooperation in principle,( that is how Congress gets bills passed) and thus was happy to see Tip O'Neal negotiate in good faith with Reagan, and Pelosi sitting down in earnest with Bush and McConnell. With this particular man, I sadly hope Dems do not. Republicans should not have picked a win-at-all-cost demagogue with no sense of decency or moral compass, or at least given us someone we could trust to keep a promise made, if they wanted Dems to participate in the process of governing. Trump is not a conservative or a Republican. He is a mean, vicious creep. Trump must be stopped consistently until he leaves office. You do not give Huey Long anything to brag about or to trade for in Louisiana politics. I endorse complete and total obstruction of every aspect of his legislative agenda on principle.

OPs like this have no value other than clickbait. They should just be allowed to die from the ensuing silence.
