Democratic Party foolish to giddy over taking Santos The Liar District

Our Democratic friends are being fools if they actually believe that the altur of the NY3 district is a sign of the way things will go this Nov. This was a special election against the ghost of a liar and idiot. Voters of both parties have almost always punished the party that put an idiot in office by failing to properly vette that Gebonee. This win by the Democrats is based on one issue and even though it was unsaid by the Democrats it was all about Santos. This Nov the issues will not br singular. The Democrats will have the stench of illegal immigrants on them and on top of that even get tagged with things not their fault. Special elections bring out people who vote in special issue elections. Most will not come out to support Biden in Nov.

 

This election just showed what the left really thinks of POCs. As always, the left opted for WHITE PRIVILEGE just like they did with Biden (they had a candidate of almost ever race and gender to pick from)

Its also a big failure for the right. This shows they are behind the times with early voting and other methods that the left is destroying the right on. I agree this election is not representative of the general populous, it does still show some of the major faults of the GOP and I hope its a wake up call for them (but i doubt it, these people never learn)

 

NY3 doesn't PARTICULARLY signal how things will go in November. But the fact that Republicans have NOT won the vote in any national election since Trump took control of the party might.

Having said that, losing by a large margin an election in a district that Democrats lost even AFTER more red areas were added to the district, might raise some eyebrows among Republicans. Maybe most Americans DON'T like people who support an indicted sexual pervert who invites a fascist expansionist dictator to invade our allies. Or maybe they don't like them ENOUGH to bother coming out to vote for them. I don't know if that means anything... but it might be worth it for some of their candidates to re-think their position about the criminal. After all, their only interest is to be re-elected. Not Trump, not the country, not any particular ideology, not what their constituents want.... just to get back into that cozy seat

 

Let them celebrate for a day, the exit polling also spoke volumes. This evening it's back to the grind!
