Here's your "R..Trump treatment" for Cuellar.

"And he had sympathy for Democrat Rep Henry Cuellar, suggesting his indictment last week on charges of accepting $600,000 in bribes from an Azerbaijani oil company was 'for political reasons, because he was tough on the border'.

    $600,000?

In a relative sense, it’s amazing how little money it takes to gain access to so much money and power. Yes, it’s a nice sum of money, but when you compare it to the billions the Federal Government throws around, like popcorn, $600,000 is a fabulous bargain.

Once you pass the money through several entities, the audit trail gets much tougher to trace. The Biden crime family is well versed in that process.

The shell companies were not illegal in and of themselves. It was their purpose that is in question.

I agree. A shell company however usually is some kind of a front instrument or umbrella and does not really do business for itself, so generally, it is a facade. Sometimes the purpose is to protect an identity or to insulate against potential liability. While it's legal to create such a company, it's illegal to launder money through it. As you say- that is the question.

Biden just Indicted Henry Cuellar because the Respected Democrat Congressman wouldn’t play Crooked Joe’s Open Border game. He was for Border Control, so they said, “Let’s use the FBI and DOJ to take him out!” This is the way they operate. They’re a bunch of D.C. Thugs, and at some point they will be paying a very big price for what they have done to our Country. CROOKED JOE BIDEN IS A THREAT TO DEMOCRACY!

Hard to say. He certainly hasn't been woke enough for most of them. They may consider it worth a chance at getting one that lives further to the left.

Now will the Democrats run to defend him as the GOP does Trump?

It is easy, and pointless, to ping pong dimwitted politicians, as we see today, being elected doesn't mean that person has a moral compass

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — A top former aide to U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar and a political and business consultant have agreed to plead guilty to conspiring to help the Democrat congressman from Texas launder more than $200,000 in bribes and to assist prosecutors in a federal criminal investigation, according to court documents unsealed this week.

I imagine any Democrat that doesn't tow the official leftist line has a fear of being targeted for destruction. I worry about Eric Adams. He's ruffled a few democratic feathers...and suddenly he's got the FBI on his tail....
