Democratic senator says he broke with party on coronavirus bill because 'the clock is ticking'

What does the Dem plan entail? It wouldn't happen to be a bunch of things that have nothing to do with individuals and businesses suffering under these current conditions would it?

 

I would say it's the difference between a Fascist and a Democratic Republic. In the latter, the government might save companies in exchange for something that benefits the people. In a fascist society... screw the people.

We tried the "fascist" option with the banks in the last Republican recession and, when sanity was restored and the time of reckoning for those who made the decision came, we realized that the people had received nothing in exchange for their taxes being used to benefit a few.

Because believe it or not, there will be a time when sanity is restored, you know.

It is quite clear the Dems are engaged in a blackmail of the country with our health and livelihoods as the hostage. Either give us abortion funding, minimum wage, permanent paid long term sick leave, tighter emission standards on airlines, forgive all student loans or we will not vote to help prevent a total economic collapse and put you into a new economic depression and ruin everything about your life if you can even survive the virus.

 

Looks like the dems opted not to follow Pelosi on this bill.
