Nobody is talking about 'election deniers' or Jan. 6th

A red wave is coming, and Democrats have no one to blame but themselves. Liberal candidates are wrong on the things that people care about — economic issues, public safety and parental involvement in education. Plus, liberals continue to talk about the things that most voters do not care about — and that makes them look disconnected from reality.

Not surprisingly, the media seems just as out of touch as most liberal candidates…
…Liberals are wrong on the issues. They live in such a bubble — fueled by many in the media — that they don’t even know it. They will next Tuesday night.

Read it and weep secular progressives! No one cares much at all if at all about Jan 6. Everyone cares about inflation. And energy prices, crime, education, immigration , border security.

It's adorable to watch rightists believe winning the midterms is some kind of miracle when the minority party ALWAYS wins the midterms. LOL

An educated person would know a boy will never be a girl and you can't insure 45 million people and see costs go down.

We are not the minority party. We have more governors and state legislative bodies than the democrats do. We have more boards of supervisors and small city councils than the democrats do.

    Exactly.
I feel just fine. I have been debating the far left on another forum the last month plus and returned now to support my conservative friends here in the days before the election. I’ll probably spend more time on the other forum than here because of it also having a decent sports section ive been a part of for 25 years. I feel fine now watching the Trump rally as I type this

While this is typically the case, it does not always happen that way. In this case, because of circumstances, which generally get blamed on the Administration & Party in power, I think (and polls confirm) that Republicans should gain seats. This is not the same thing, however, as a "wave."

The number of seats that will change, in the House, is anyone's guess, at this point. Further, some, most, or all of those gains for Republicans, may be directly tied to their own, in most cases, redrawing of district lines, with a penchant for gerrymandered, safe Republican districts.

In the Senate, it seems very doubtful, we will see a Red wave; though there may be numerous close contests. Should the Senate balance even change, it seems more likely to me that it would be by only one seat (i.e., 51 to 49) than by 2, and far more likely 1, then a change of 3 seats (which would still be rather small, to call a "wave"). And this pickup of a seat, could even be by Democrats!

But here are the two comments that I most wanted to share with you: first of all,
in early voting, we are not yet seeing signs of a Red Wave! Again, that is not the same thing as saying that Dems may not lose some seats. The most concerning sign, to my mind, is that we are so far seeing low participation, from young voters (who typically lean more Democratic).

The second point of note, which I just heard, today, is that it appears that
Republicans are trying to create a self-fulfilling narrative, by flooding the zone with clusters of polls by Republican/Conservative organizations, to skew predictions, more heavily in Republican favor, than is truly warranted.

Therefore, the pre-acceptance of more losses than truly are inevitable, as the attitude of your posts suggests you may have, would be
playing right into the devious, Republican plan.

Amusingly-- as reasonable as your non-specific post sounds-- the thing that I take it, you may be referring to as "nonsense," is not the Republican focus on schools teaching kids to be gay/transgender/transspecies (cat litter boxes in class), or their making a bugaboo out of teaching the history of racism, by calling it CRT, or any of the other dubious ways that Republicans have been expending their energies, other than offering productive ways to address problems.

What "future" have Republicans laid out, to address inflation? The Republican plan is to give more tax breaks to the rich-- that could only add to inflation, while draining government coffers. At the same time, they would roll back Medicare's ability to negotiate lower drug prices, as well as get rid of the limits the Dems have put on out of pocket drug costs. How does this help people, deal with inflation?

Or, what is the Republican plan, to address the rise of certain types of crime, which they try to blame on Democrats? Oh, I Know-- they'll put newly arrived, asylum seekers, on planes & buses, and bring them to Blue States! Yeah, a regular cornucopia of solutions, offered by the Repubs-- right after they irreparably damage our currency's standing, and ever after make the price of servicing our National Debt, more expensive, by forcing us to default on our debt obligations (paying off T-bills, and such), in an attempt to get rid of Medicare & Social Security. Ironically, you call wanting to take away from seniors' incomes, giving us a "future."

It isn’t just polls that have reasonable amounts of GOP members in the numbers, older polling outfits are now coming in with similar outlooks. Generally in a wave election most of the close races all break the same way, generally away from the party in power.

sorry I was be overly brief but I am not well

What I'm complaining about are these new ideas politicians keep implementing to make themselves and their relatives rich that destroy the futures of millions of people.

Ideas like: 'those blue-collar workers don't need to do tedious jobs, we'll move the diesel engine plant to Mexico and let go of those assembly workers so they will be free to become programmers.'

So my job went, and I did retrain, but then the job market for programmers collapsed.

Why do politicians feel they can take half-baked ideas, do permanent damage in the real world, convince highly impressionable Democrats of how wonderful their ideas are, and then expect to get support from normal people?

I am a Democrat and I did support Andrew Yang and his Forward Party in the Democrat Primaries.
If I had known in time that he would get zero delegates I would have supported Tulsi Gabbard.

When it came to the main election I did not support Joe Biden and his angry party, because I thought that was the wrong approach,
but I had no idea he was out to destroy everything - our currency, our reputation, our alliances, our energy supply and the World food supply.

Do we in the Democratic Party have no control over this nutcase?

    Speaking of nut cases...

Election workers in Arizona’s most fiercely contested county faced more than 100 violent threats and intimidating communications in the run-up to Tuesday’s midterms, most of them based on election conspiracy theories promoted by former President Donald Trump and his allies.

The harassment in Maricopa County included menacing emails and social media posts, threats to circulate personal information online and photographing employees arriving at work, according to nearly 1,600 pages of documents obtained by Reuters through a public records request for security records and correspondence related to threats and harassments against election workers.

Between July 11 and Aug. 22, the county election office documented at least 140 threats and other hostile communications, the records show. “You will all be executed,” said one. “Wire around their limbs and tied & dragged by a car,” wrote another.

If the above story is true...how disgusting.

Once the red wave has come they will be faced with solving all of the problems that they created such as grooming children, getting books out of libraries, punishing the Biden "crime family," increasing free speech for some while taking it away for others, dealing with the "woke" philosophy and teaching divisive history lessons, making us "free" again, controling the biased media, ending socialism, doing away with health experts, banning all abortion, ending voter fraud, and doing away with affirmative action.

Havig power is more difficult than criticizing the power of others. Can conservatives solve all of the above problems and help unite the country? It will be your turn.

The good part is they will not pay attention to their drubbing and will claim that, "historically, the majority party always loses at the midterms so, there is nothing to learn from the drubbing. All we need to do is have better messaging next time and work harder to get our base out to vote".
