Working-class people of color hate the riots the lefty elite keeps cheering.

Somebody like DeSantis looks better and better all the time. He has a working brain and everything!

The term is used in a variety of ways to describe phenomena as diverse as multiculturalism, women's movements, civil rights, lesbian and gay movements, and regional separatist movements"

It seems to me the identity and the agenda here are the same- opposition to and reduction of coercive vaccination. What identity and agenda are you seeing?

 

So we know from past experience that those measures don't work. Like literally. The disease comes through and kills people. Vaccine mandates work. But what's important here is that the bill is tied to two things.
1. anti-federal sentiment.
2. Anti-Biden sentiment.

Hence why it appears the bill isn't motivated by much more than identity politics.

Something else that 'doesnt work' is authoritarianism. To many, protecting freedom is more important than stopping covid. Not everyones world revolves around fearing covid, or opposing Biden for that matter. Do you think this bill protecting Floridians from coercive vaccination would be less popular if it hadn't been signed in Branden, FL?

 

Authoritarianism is a scale. Even when you are looking at authoritarian leaders there are huge differences in them. When you say it’s authoritarian it means so little because sure it’s the government telling you to do something. But the government also tells you to stop at a red light and if you don’t you will be punished. Even then, we know vaccine mandates work.
