    Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis blasted Dr. Anthony Fauci and said someone needs to "grab that little elf and chuck him across the Potomac."

    DeSantis made his remark during a "Keep Florida Free" Republican event in Seminole County on Wednesday, according to the Washington Examiner.

    "I'm just sick of seeing him. I know he says he's gonna retire. Someone needs to grab that little elf and chuck him across the Potomac," DeSantis said on Wednesday...

    Do you really believe Desantis was speaking literally? As in he literally wants someone to throw Fauci over the Potomac? Thats 11 miles, btw...

    Ah, yes, name calling, the Christian thing to do. He learned well from his master. Maybe God told DeSantis to attack Fauci like this. It won't matter, though, the Evangelicals will vote for him with zeal, anyway.

    I think directing violent imagery toward elderly public servants is dangerous rhetoric even if he wasn’t be literal.

    Tell us you have a problem with people, specifically other politicians, making threats towards elderly people. I'd like to see if you were this bothered when half of DC was wanting to punch Donald Trump or if you're being a partisan here.

    Such a great argument. Some left wing kook wanted to punch Trump, That makes it okay for DeSantis, a frontrunner for the GOP presidential nomination, btw, to call a long serving government official names and to make thinly-veiled threats against him.

    And here I thought candidates of presidential material should have gotten out of the name-calling stage in middle school. I guess that doesn't apply to the modern Trump party anymore. The cruder the better.

    Go back to the AIDS crisis in the 1980s, Fauci was in charge of handling that and many AIDS activists consider him a murderer. Activists protested Fauci and even stormed the building his office was in.

    With covid, Fauci dictated what policy the nation should take, he flat out lied on masks and vaccines and boosters, he shut down any covid debate, he demanded the shutdown. Every suicide during covid is on Fauci. Every person who listened to Fauci and got the vax and died from complications is on Fauci, every person who got the vax and thought they were vaccinated and free from covid and then got it and died is on Fauci.

    Fauci should be in prison solitary confinement for the rest of his life. He caused immeasurable harm.
