On Friday Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis criticized the Democrats’ focus on climate change, describing it as a “thinly veiled attempt at social engineering” during an interview with Tucker Carlson. The Republican leader drew attention to the broader environmental challenges facing Florida, most notably the worsening red tide problem. In the interview, DeSantis underscored the importance of addressing tangible environmental issues, rather than solely focusing on the specter of climate change. “We’ve actually created an infrastructure in Florida. Democrats and the left talk about global warming. They’re going to change the climate, forcing you into an electric vehicle is not going to change the climate when China is building a new coal plant every week,” DeSantis remarked. Governor DeSantis pushed back against what he sees as futile attempts to control people’s behaviors, framing it as a form of “social engineering” that he believes won’t succeed…. https://trendingpoliticsnews.com/wa...ge-to-control-americans-give-me-a-break-mace/ He’s right. Climate change and global warming are not really about cleaning up the environment. We’ve made great progress on that. It’s really green being used by democrats to impose socialist red.
For the left it’s all about control. Using green to try to force us blue in domestic terms. The Post Millennial @TPostMillennial · Follow DeSantis says the left's fear-mongering about climate change is just a thinly veiled attempt at social engineering: "Them forcing you into an electric vehicle is not gonna change the climate when China's building a new coal plant every week." A man that was ejected from a fake news organization after they successfully argued in court that you cannot believe anything he says interviewing a man that is loosing in the polls to a turnip and a man under indictment after being impeached twice and removed by the largest voter base in the history of the United States. What happened to the Republican Party?
Then the governor has no clue what Climate Change really is. We have record-breaking heat, longer droughts, and more severe hurricanes that pop in the Gulf of Mexico in which the earth's water temperature is also rising, which affects the air streams that disperse, and develop, and the air patterns that cause the severe droughts, the severe flooding in areas that normally don't see flooding like in Vermont, etc. I am not arguing or supporting the Green New Deal, but climate change is about saving this planet we call Earth. The question really is what policies we should enact to help keep the air clean, the water clean, and to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from artificial methods.
Then I think he should shut the **** up and offer some groundbreaking solutions if he’s got that much to say.
Climate change is real. It is cyclical and it’s also affected by the sun as well. When Rome occupied where London is now they grew grapes and palm trees there. During our revolutionary war it was colder there that it is now. Yet here we are.
Ithinkhe should freely say the truth as he did here doing the time he’s governor of Florida and doing interviews. That you all think he should censor himself means he on the right track here.
What part of “ground breaking solutions” was difficult? But of course the sudden soread of Malaria to Florida has zero to do with the warmer weather
I could ask the same about the left, the left is guilty of everything they hate about the right. And considerably more so…you just don’t get to hear about it nearly as often.
when many life forms do the same thing over and over and over, they can change the planet humans are no different, over population and what we release into the atmosphere will have an effect if each person does it over and over and over "The Great Oxidation Event: How Cyanobacteria Changed Life" https://asm.org/Articles/2022/February/The-Great-Oxidation-Event-How-Cyanobacteria-Change life on earth will go on, the question is, will earth be as hospitable to human life
