Democrats in lib cities and states have already asked their residents to take illegals into their homes and there were no takers. Why would you think Mar a Lago would be any different.

Have you noticed how the Haitians are coming here rather than just walking across the border into the Dominican Republic? Haiti is surrounded by plenty of nice islands the illegals can go to, so why are they coming here?

I do. The upper crust lives on Martha's Vineyard. Upper crust Democrats want open borders, yet they don't want "the dirty immigrants" around them and their neighborhood unless the immigrants clean up and work for cheap wages.

In the meantime this same upper crust can't understand why "the little people," who can't afford to live on Martha's Vineyard, are upset when the immigrants crush their school systems and other social services. If "the little people" complain they are labeled as "intolerant xenophobes."

In short, the "upper crust" on Martha's Vineyard, who gave the first group of immigrants DeSantis sent them the bum's rush as quickly as possible, are hypocrites. What's good for "the little people" is not good for them.

 

How about the Dominican Republic that is one the same island? It's a tourist destination for many. You also have a lot great baseball players who have grown up there.

 

That is not the definition of obsession, while obsession can often times be unreasonable, that is not always the case. As for your notion of me liking obsession when it suits me, yes absolutely, I find obsession to be constructive under many circumstances, sometimes it can something work related, sometimes it can be related to creation/art, or sometimes in relation to deadlines or assignments. It is the notion that all obsession is equal, or that all obsession is unreasonable that I think is irrational.

All three of them asked residents to take in illegals. NYC offered to pay $125.00 a day to anyone who took in an illegal and no one took him up on it. No, the feds who have land in martha's vineyard that are going to treat those migrants roughly, those same feds who set the policy that these people come to take advantage of and are allowed to stay because of, are encouraging more to come.

He's simply mitigating the damage by sending them to where they are wanted and where they will have the smallest impact on the people in his charge. .
