Now we're making some progress. You are backing off your statement that the President's legal team argued that the President could decide their own powers. So maybe you could explain why you provided link to try to prove that claim?

So now you have downsized your argument to say, "the Republican Senate has allowed a President to abuse his power at his/her discretion. Which makes their power as President almost unlimited."

Still ridiculous, but I've learned there is no point in asking you for links since you'll only give me BS ones.

As I said, that was the other poster's expression. So you believe that was a strawman... I don't disagree with you. I'm sure that's how it was intended. But the deflection was not so severe it was worth my time to debunk. This would have been easily clarified in no more than two lines about 3 posts ago if you had simply explained what the f... hell it was you were talking about. Lesson for you next time...

The link I sent proves what I said, which was

quoting myself: "...Republicans have held that a President's powers are almost unlimited and not open to accusations of abuse of power...."

But I do believe we are making great progress given that you don't disagree with that.

    Good enough for me...

This isn't the only thread in which you post links that you don't read. You were busted on it, and are still trying to dodge the fact that you were wrong, and you never made your case.
