Did God Cause The Earthquake That Shaked Eastern United States?

After felt shaking here it felt like time to re evaluate Christianity and go back to church on Sunday.

Some conservative Christians are saying that we are being devilish in DC with evil policies such as allowing homosexual marriage, stealing money from the rich, etc... and this natural disaster is a warning to change our ways.

Granted if the shake was more violent would have listened more to their advice but at this moment it seemed just like an ordinary thing that should not cause for concern...

You see, it was the tectonic plates moving abruptly that cause the earthquake. But, why did they move so abruptly? Because the oil that is suppose to lubricate them and allow them to move smoothly is sucked out of the ground and put our own selfish uses.
In order to prevent future earthquakes we need to stop using the plate lubrication oil and start relying heavily on wind solar and unicorn farts to power our great nation.
