Did You Hear about the 10 People Shot in Chicago? No?

Setting aside the fact that you've been wrong on everything you post here, I'll leave you with a link listing all these black serial killers along with a video highlighting the more egregious criminals of our time--all black. Granted, most of these killers didn't direct their crime on children, but they've all gone on mass murder sprees.

The video was posted on a national news outlet and I knew about it and saw it the day it came out. But see the difference is I actually care. I'm not just on the internet remaining willfully ignorant and trolling. Most of the posters on this forum don't read. They just post ignorant statements...

It is pretty obvious who reads good sources and does thoughtful analysis and who is just mindlessly trolling for some kind of bizarre sexual pleasure... or whatever it is that makes people post this stuff.

 

Why do you place different values on life? Not sure what the victims race, their age, and the number killed at one time has to do with anything. The lives of 30 individuals killed at different times is no less significant then 30 individuals killed at the same time, the race and age of these victims is on equal footing. That is unless you somehow think the life of a white 5 year old is more important than the life of a 20 something black person.

The point being made is that the media, and our political leaders, are completely silent on the violence that occurs in the inner cities and urban areas. But because this epidemic in our urban areas doesn't involve "white kids" who are at a "young age" it's of less importance to the media and political leaders.

Chicago is Obama's city and it's run by Obama's hand picked man (and you can take that any way you like). You don't think the government approved media is going to focus any real attention on the daily blood baths there, do you?

School shootings are particularly horrible. But more people have been killed in Chicago this year than U.S. troops in Afghanistan
(as of June 17, 240 people had been murdered this year so far). The deaths in Chicago and Afghanistan are linked by one
shocking characteristic...an almost complete lack of attention by our news media.

I mean don't get me wrong ... the guy down the street has an operation like that going on ... even has a business-license with the residential-address ... bit of a junkyard in the back of a $200,000 house ... (would be a million or two-million dollar house in artificially inflated property value states) ... he gets away with it by working on cop cars ...

The president made a video addressing Chicago's violence and the Chicago Sun-Times has had it up on it's website for over four months. If you don't know about it that is your fault. POTUS can't come to your house and spoon feed you.

Thousands of children die everyday from preventable diseases and starvation, yet our country goes into an emotional tailspin when 20 children are killed with a gun. It's sickening in a way.

Yes. It is "sickening" to be upset about 20 healthy children being mercilessly gunned down at SCHOOL. I don't care if these kids are in Congo or Laos. If someone kicks in the door of a school and splatters the brains of 20 six year olds on the wall with a gun I'm upset. By your "conservative" values that may may make me a liberal but that's to bad. I'm not going to apologize for who I am. It's a free country. You are perfectly free to sweep this under the rug and go Christmas shopping. Sorry to have disrupted your holiday season.

I don't think it takes a lot of intelligence to figure out how commonplace gun murders are and how only the most sensational hit the front page. I wish the media would put EVERY gun murder on the front page every day.

 

This post is what is sickening. 20 children gun down in a school and you don't think that is going to make national news. How many do you need for it to be national news 100.

 

And, you can't show us white communities with 40+ shot white teens nearly every summer weekend. White America wouldn't stand for it.
