I'm old enough to remember that the Right was just soooooo convinced that former President Clinton was going to torpedo Obama's renomination at the 2012 DNC.

I don’t understand your logic. Why do DNC need to replace Biden? Biden will win election same way he did in 2020- Cheating.

 

Cheating is always there for the Democrats. Only one in a hundred of the illegals needs to vote to tip the election. Don’t tell me I’m nuts. A federal judge just ruled that it’s illegal to ask a voter’s birthplace. If you are born here, unless it’s at an embassy, you are a citizen and voter automatically. If you are born out the country, you need to prove you are eligible to vote.

I’d say Biden’s of winning are better than 50-50. If the Democrats nominated Newsom, the odds are 80 - 20 for a win. He’s handsome. And he can string two sentences together.

 

Again , I don’t understand, if DEMS can win by cheating regardless who is the nominee, then why 50/50 chance for Biden to win but Newsom is 80/20?

You know what I think. I think GOP is so scared to run against Biden , they wish Biden is not the nominee. In past six months I have read at least 10 post from you that Newsom would be better candidate then Biden. Don’t tell me you are actually a closet Dems who want Trump to lose election.

 

The GOP is afraid to run against anyone. There I said it! Your party owns the education system. You own the brainwashed kids. You will win the vast majority of elections. A voter's birthplace does not determine whether or not they can vote. There are people who weren't both here who can legally vote. Read. Learn.

Some in you your movement DO NOT want to defeat the Communist Chinese. Did you hear Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau say the he envied the power the Chinese leadership who can simply enact policies rather than having to bother with democratic processes? He’s no different from the Democrats who are striving for the Uniparty. I know you have said that you prefer two viable political parties, but the Democrat leadership does not agree with you.

 

Why would there be a need to bow to anyone? Are you ready to bow to Putin, North Korea or other dictators?

In context he was referring to the Chinese ability to build a 1000 mile highway in a matter of months, and even entire cities in no time, while in US and Canada it takes a long time to get anything passed through Congress. If Dems could do what Chinese do, we would have had Universal Healthcare and all other per projects decades ago. No clue why you think anyone in US can do such things without Congress approving the spending.

It took US 35 years to build the Interstate system. We do things the US way and the Chinese can do whatever they want in their country. Tudeau can envy their abilities, but its not how we operate, and not even Trudeau is pushing for such system.

As for needing the approval of Congress, that’s only part of it. The government bureaucracy can be more of an impediment to getting something done than the vote of a democratic legislature.

 

Which dictator are you referring to? Young people typically take the side of who they perceive as the victim, and in this case it's the Palestinian civilians, not some dictator. If they had a dictator, he'd learn to the RW side on most issues, especially on social and religious issues. Do I listen to them? No. Do you? I mentioned Putin, because your political leader can't stop humping his leg, and he has also shown admiration to North Korea commies. He even said they are in love with each other.

We have lots of Austrians and probably Canadians who don't live here, but think they have a right to dictate policy to us on these boards. I really don't think I should be commenting about about policies in their countries unless they are coming after me.

I heard this outrageous comment from Trudeau, and it really hit a nerve. The way China is acting on the world stage these days, no one in the western world should be admiring their system.

 

It’s not left or right, but politics. No one wants to pay $1000 for TV in the US, Canada, or Europe. They want $150 32 inch Chinese TV or cheap microwave.


China can be content if Citizen of the WEST desire to sacrifice their “materialistic thirst”. Unfortunately I don’t think that will happen in the West, regardless of whether they are conservative or Liberal.

 

I had no trouble with China as long as they wanted to be a part of the world community and have normal trade relations. If they are continued on that route, they might well have passed the United States economically in ten to twenty years.

The trouble started with uber nationalist, Xi. He's built up his military, threatened his neighbors and formed the old alliances with Russia and added Iran to form the new "Axis of Evil." Xi is the modern Hitler with a bit more sanity. He knows better than to start a war of conquest until he has the West lined up for the fall. He's working on that now by funding U.S. universities, buying up U.S. farmland and bring in military aged men though Biden's open border.

 

I wouldn’t go that far to call XI as modern day Hitler. What I would say is China wants to dominate and become equal to USA. They are trying to expand their economic power and alliance.

Economic power: yes , Chinese economy grew rapidly past 20 years-2004 GDP 1.9 trillion to 2024 17 trillion . This number look daunting, but USA is not that far behind. US GDP 12 trillion to 2024 25 trillion. It is much harder to go from 12 trillion to 25 trillion then 1.9 to 17.

Alliance: what concern me the most is the alliance China is building. Chinese government donating billions to 3rd world countries in Africa, South East Asia and South America. Every nation, We American negating, China is going their and donating money to build bridges and Solar Panel. During Obama Admin , TPP failed because the right and the left ( Sen Sandars and co) were against it. when US failed to sign Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP), China went and created their own trade.

Left was always against globalization and free trade ( they are 100% wrong) , but now the conservatives also think globalization and free tread and US alliance is bad.

MAGA wants to discuss "how bad China is and USA needs to stand up to China", but they don't want to invest in "US Alliance". MAGA can't wait to get out of NATO and every other alliance US has maintained for the past 75 years.

 

We can agree on that. China is getting huge footholds in Africa and South America while Biden and Blinkin play with their toes.

As for Xi and Hitler, both of them were/are genocidal with death and slave camps. Hitler hung his political opponents on piano wire and arranged for their pants to fall while they died. I won't put that past Xi. He is a monster.

I'm not defending Trump. I wish he wasn't running, but Biden is far worse.
