    I keep seeing the claim there is no evidence that face masks work. Or that we know they don't work. So here are 49 peer-reviewed studies saying they do work.


    Etc etc etc through number 49, with 41 published and 8 awaiting publication.

    How about we just let people who are concerned wear a proper n95 mask instead of making everyone wear a mask for you?

    Or wear them where you are more likely to be infected or infect others. If people would wear one sitting on the couch watching TV it would reduce the R0 much more than wearing a mask in many public settings.

    Good point about proper masks though.

    Most of the masks that the general public use are only 10% effective regarding Covid.

    10% effective is better than no effect. IMO, if viral load is reduced, that can't be a bad thing.
