Corporations make so much because they work with the government. Corporations such as public universities, for example. Governments, mafias, mobs, etc. are entirely unacceptable in the free market.
Yes, theoretically. In the case of the latter, this seems proven, more or less, by history. In the case of the former, we dont know because a truly free market has never existed.
But how many of those 500 got assistance from the government? Probably over 350. That is a complete violation of a free market system.
