    Do you?

I believe I have; last week Tuesday when I was studying in a private classroom that was still open after all the state regulated schools shut; I had a fever and last Sunday my head and my chest was burning up and I had dry phlegm and coughed up some rubber like mucus (in a smoker's cough when I was smoking); then I've been feeling better since Sunday, Monday, no minor chest pains since Monday but I'm self isolating on a lock down being extra careful trying keep my distance and to minimise my shopping to once a week).

I haven't been tested, but I suspect I've had mild symptoms of it/feeling better now; I'd be happy once my 2 weeks is up, sometimes I scare myself when I think about it.

I live in the mountains and don't have much contact with many people. The ones that we do have contact with live in the mountains and don't have much contact with people unless they live in the mountains.

I hope I've got it and that it was just mild because the rate of reinfection is 0 in a short period of time. There is a test but it's not yet available that can test if you've had it or not. If indeed I've got it and I had only mild symptoms (compared to needing a breathing machine) - and my symptoms were only mild; this could mean that I've survived this pandemic (here's hoping) and that I'd be immune/built up my own antibodies to deal with this.
The PM (British Prime Minister/my head of government) said at the beginning of all of this that 60% of the UK population were needed to catch this so a natural herd immunity can happen. I still hope that I've already had the worse of this and that it was Covid-19.

It's not impossible, but could also just be the common flu. From what I've read, symptoms for both are pretty much the same unless you start choking.

I had the flu last week. Worried me a bit, but I'm all better now. Pretty sure I don't have the covid since it works with an incubation period and then gets pretty bad.

I'm beginning to wonder if we don't ALL have it. Or maybe possibly a form that doesn't show up in testing but sort of confers immunity to the worse forms. This would explain why it seems to kill old people. Old people do just die, but then we look and find the virus and say that must have killed them,

Being honest I have to say that idea doesn't make a lot of sense but I can't see why. Can anyone help here?

It should show up on any test if it's present; it doesn't mask itself; also, a positive test doesn't always equate seriously deteriorated health or a death sentence; many could be infected and be unaware because they haven't been tested, so they could unwittingly be spreading the virus .

I've heard from several people about having what they thought was the flu in late Jan and Feb but the flu test at the dr.'s office was negative. I've heard this same thing from a nurse. She said the flu test was negative so the dr. treated it as an upper respiratory infection. I do wonder if it was covid-19. In Feb, my son was working in southwest Louisiana for a couple weeks. He came home with this weird unproductive cough. It was strange because it did sound like a choking cough but he didn't have any other symptoms except for a couple mornings, he felt very unwell but then by lunch he would feel better. He had a couple days of that and it was over although the cough lasted a week. He's 20 and very healthy, never really gets sick. We didn't think anything of it then.

We have one reported case in the town closest to me 20 miles away. She had traveled, knew it, and has been quarantined. My trips to town have been few and only to the lumber yard.

I bet we are well over 25% infection in the US. No way not to be with the society we live in. Fox has a video up, shows them tracking cell phones from a single beach in Florida At Spring Break, then 2 weeks latter. Those phones are now All up and down the eastern seaboard.

Apologies for being so blunt, but why the **** didn't you get tested? You could have given it to many many people.

The China virus took one look at me and decided it was safer to just cross the street and avoid eye contact.

it's hard to get tested, and if he doesn't have it, going in to get tested exposes him to the risk of getting it

they really need drive through testing here

just not enough tests for everyone to get tested easily

we had the same here around Christmas

states with lower rates, may have already gone through it, hard to tell yet as no testing to back it up

They're not available for me yet. Prince Charles took a test and was criticized for jumping the queue. http://www.rfi.fr/en/europe/2020032...ng-covid-19-testing-queue-for-quick-diagnosis and he's freaking Prince Charles for chrissake! - I'm a nobody; I'm probably the last person to get a test; any tests my country have are going straight to essential workers on the front line in hospitals.

There was speculation that tests would be available next week https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-52035615 but that's next week.

I'd love to take that test that says if you've had it or not.

The advice I heard the PM say on TV was, if you think you've got it, assume you've got it, and tackle it from there; isolation/social distancing/disinfecting and hand washing etc...

I'm feeling better this week than I did last week.
I also believe I was infected last week.
Even people with symptoms are allowed out on lock down.

My symptoms don't include that dry cough, but it I had a fever and didn't care for my mucus and phlegm my body produced last Sunday (5 days after I believe I was exposed/infected), it was all bloody, and brown and dry all of a sudden and I even coughed up some really rubbery phlegm (when I lit a smokable/smokers cough) and the person who I believe infected me had that dry cough bad.
I hope I had it, I'd hate to not have had it if what I had wasn't it; since it was mild and the quick reinfection rate is 0.
I also had very minor chest pains last Sunday/Monday too, very minor, thankfully that passed.

I have no clue but doing the work I do, its not likely I won't be exposed more than once. Can't say I don't ask myself if its worth it for the pay and stress, but it is, what it is.

It's not a problem where I am. You don't go to your local doctor, you go to specially equipped and managed testing centres. No risk to you very little risk to staff.

Yes, exactly. FFS, don't go out for AT LEAST 14 days. Not for anything.

the flu we had in December seemed to come and go, fever then no fever, chest congestion, then none, was weird - I hope that was it too, for the same reasons

it was like a war, body winning, then flu, then body.. that is why wonder if it was something new the body was learning to fight

if it was though, Corona may last longer then 14 days
