While I do not support the moment I would not go that far. It is simply not the case that all of them are like this. I do agree though that those who do not want to get hurt should not attack well armed men that have been trained to use those weapons. Those that get violent get what they get. The police are doing their jobs.
I assure you that the police attack plenty of us who do nothing to provoke them whatsoever. This is but a small sampling of the examples that could be highlighted. But I guess you're cool with all that and far more because the cops are just "doing their jobs".
I am not saying abuses do not happen but I do not know the entire story with any of those. People seem to think that police are something other than human. I do not. I have plenty of friends in police forces and I have had plenty of problems with the police as well (mostly my fault). In the bottom shot I actually feel the white shirt was justified. Police were holding the barrier and people were pushing it. If a person were pushing me I would feel that it was time to fight. If you want to protest why push things? To get attention. Well they got it. Basic heard mentality; animals. What would be your view of this if it were not the police and it were simply people coming into your yard after you have asked them to stop? Would you just let them do as they pleased? There needs to be control.
If by "control" you mean armed violence against unarmed, peaceful demonstrators, we're not on the same page.
If by peaceful by in the face of armed men; doing their jobs, trying to keep the situation under control we are on the same page. If it were not for the police presence it would simply devolve into a mob (more rape, theft... ...and moving up to killing) with a simple heard mentality. Hell it is almost there. You people need a singular message and it needs to be directed. You are only hurting the rest of us and if as a group you would gather up half a brain between all of you; you would use dollar votes and make rapid changes. Crap you cant do that because you are simply a mindless amoeba bumping the confines of your dish. You people need to regroup and redirect. Many of us are willing to support you but you just need to grow up.
