Today I have written two Easter cards. One to Berlin, and one to Tatarstan in Russia. Now I will take them to the nearest yellow post box.
Good for you. I got banned from a few churches for asking too many uncomfortable questions or making some very direct comments like, "I don't see why people celebrate someone's torture and murder".
Jehovah's Witnesses do not celebrate birthdays - and therefore they do not celebrate Christmas. What about Easter?
JW's don't "celebrate" anything. They "observe". IIRC the observe their version of Easter--either the death or the resurrection-- based on the lunar calendar on whatever day of the week it falls be it sunday or wednesday.
I have never sent nor received one. I do not recall my parents doing it either. I am not sure it is really an American tradition to send cards at Easter.
