I want you to look up Rick Santorum's History.
He is a TRAINED LAWYER..yet he violated the Children home schooling law in PA ..and that led to his great loss..not the bad Republican year..Good Republicans held on to their seat.
It was just a $75,000 mistake on his taxes..
FACT..and not a personal attack.he knew the law and tried to avoid paying taxes.

    Now about SUPER PACS.
remember the debates when newt challenged Romney about compelling his Super Pac to stop running negative ( mostly true ) ads agaisnt him because it was unfair ?
Romney replied that the candidates cannot have any contact with those running those Super Pacs..THAT IS THE LAW.
    newt conceded the point..

    so Fast FORWARD..
Who was standing on the stage with Santorum after his Tues. Caucus victory ? His Super Pac guy.
    Just a mistake..maybe he messed up ?

Well..looking ahead to this weekend and we get more..

    http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/friess-santorum-donor-billionaire/2012/02/10/id/429025

On Friday morning, the 71-year-old will formally introduce Santorum at an annual CPAC convention of thousands of conservatives, where rivals for the Republican nomination to face Democrat Barack Obama in the November election will speak.

The spotlight is suddenly on Friess after Santorum, a former Pennsylvania senator, scored upset wins in three Republican nominating contests this week to push himself back into contention in the state-by-state contest.

With gifts of $381,000 to independent fundraising organizations, Friess is Santorum's main backer and one of the most public of the wealthy men and women footing much of the bill for the 2012 presidential campaign through Super PAC organizations.

A devout Christian whose website is laced with Biblical quotations, he brings an aw-shucks grin to interviews and tries to disarm people with a cornball joke or a rehearsed story.

Friess had no hesitation in bringing the Mormon Church, of which the Republican frontrunner Mitt Romney is a member, into an attack on abuse of welfare benefits, suggesting, without explanation, that "little Mormon gals" were getting pregnant with rich men and taking welfare to pay for their babies.

He seemed to be saying this was as much a factor in the breakdown of society than a spin-off of Mormonism: "It's not just because they are in the Mormon Church. It's what has happened in America where typically Mormons would never ever take welfare - ever."

    END QUOTE.

THIS IS MY FINAL LINKAGE TO THE ANTI MORMON CRAPOLA being played behind the scene and now out in the light of day.
This is NO DIFFERENT than WRIGHT making a bad statement about GOD DARNING THE USA.

How any Christian can take money and support from THIS BELIEF system is beyond any abortion issue. Religious bigotry is an issue also..and those supporting it should get CALLED OUT.
Maybe the ultra right wingers should look at who funds their wonder boy ..because if Rick is selling what he is selling ..NO BODY will be buying.

Santorum has also expressed his distain for the TEA party and their small government platform. He hates the idea of giving up any power the president holds. He makes a claim that he will cut $5 trillion of the budget in 5 years, yet has not released how he plans to do such a thing that he can guarentee will go through. Rick is Obama, "Hope and Change". Empty promises. Rick should just say everyone will be a millionare if he gets elected.

Not true at all. What MSNBC has presented was taken out of context.
Rick was addressing a crowd with a warning about letting a
movement like the Tea Party get co-opted by a Libertarian.
Like what Ron Paul has been attempting. Therefore the need for
head Ron Paul surrogate,Alex Jones,to outright ridicule Miss
Tea Party herself, Dana Loesch {lash}.As an example.
Loesch is against Paul as a candidate.Favors Santorum.

    There's so much more.
Since Romney has been called out over what his INVESTMENT COMPANY really does and where HIS money is held..
AND Santorum and newt have BOTH questioned that...
    I submit THIS...

    Same link as above..

"You have a bunch of gay guys or gals throw condoms at 14-year-old Catholic girls. Is that tolerance?" Friess said.
( same article 4 paragraphs above this one..)

Other candidates and their backers have generally avoided overt attacks on Mormonism, aware of the risk of trespassing on the widely respected right to freedom of religious belief.

SHOW ME THE MONEY YOU SAY ?

On Tuesday night, cameras showed a beaming Friess standing next to Santorum after his victories in the Missouri, Minnesota, and Colorado Republican nominating contests.

The image raised eyebrows, as candidates often try to distance themselves from Super PACs, best known for funding attack ads on rivals. Under law, campaigns cannot coordinate strategy with Super PACs.

As the main funder of the Red, White, and Blue fund, the pro-Santorum Super PAC, Friess's new prominence may overstate his influence.

Where HIS MONEY MADE ? ( drum roll )

Friess founded Friess Associates, an investment company that amassed $15.7 billion in assets, before selling his majority share of the company in 2001.

Friess identifies as a born-again evangelical Christian. Despite his professional success, he was unhappy due to a "marriage flirting with divorce and emotionally distant children"; in October 1978, Friess "did one of those 'born again' things".[3] He often refers to God as the "Chairman of my board" and his personal website quotes Galatians 6:2 and Matthew 25:35-40. He attributes all of his subsequent success, both personal and professional, to his faith.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foster_Friess

    END ..

So you can attack the OTHER guy for being an investment company guy..destroying jobs and laying off people as not being in touch..BUT ENJOY the same money under the table Financing your own effort..??

    I CALL THAT VOODOO POLITICS.
I bet a quarter he had money parked over seas as well..
Transparency should work both ways ?

ANYONE that claims that he will outlaw contraceptives will NEVER become president, so Santorum is a moot point....

Santorum thinks that the Libertarians want NO government. That is a total lie. The only ones that want NO government are the leftist anarchists. Libertarians under Paul want to be ran by the constitution as it is writen with ammendments.

What the heck is that supposed to mean.?
Did Santorum claim to Outlaw contraceptives.
Or did this " anyone " claim it thereby will never be president.
You need to slow down, take a deep breath and articulate what you
    want to say.
Try to avoid the typical style of those who love to use stuff
    like :
    " Making things Up "
    " You are lying.You lie.Stop Lying."
No matter how feelgood it must project.

At least try to link any comments to RICK Santorum understanding the law.
I JUST DESTROYED THE MYTH this is a clean person,a Washington outsider..

This guy will take money from the devil while preaching against that same devil.
He cannot be trusted or elected..
If you attack something publicly...You must live that privately.
Rick attacked Romney on destroying jobs and using off shore accounts.
    Being out of touch.

The evidence suggest Rick is not living up to his Faith.
Faith is determined by more than just BEING...and abortion.

You could have left the names out and your statement could have applied to ALL of the candidates, including our current President.

True..but Romney made a living making money as an investment guy..and that has been brought into the debate by the others.
Romney is in the open,BAIN and its records are being vetted.
When you run on a principle..you should live UP to that principle.

HAS ROMNEY ever apologized for being that investment guy ?
No. He makes no bones about being for the free market and earning money from investing in that ideal.

President Obama attacks that principle as being unfair and un just..yet when it come to making money he is just like the rest ..Look at his tax returns..
Know many community organizers with million dollar income?

newt gingrich attacked it for laying off people and being anti American and questioning that very principle..yet earned 1.8 million for being
    a Historian ?
Know many historians with million dollar incomes ?

Santorum claims to be clean..above the mud..yet with his new found fame and OLD Billionaire backer ( Evangelical ) he attacks Romney on his money and tax issues also..The Evangelicals can attack the Mormon issue but he wont..any person being supported by a religious bigot and not denouncing it is unfit for any public office.

Paul..? no baggage..? He still claims the money from the military is more to him..Funny the votes aren't..You know military money is TAX money ?
Duh ? Maybe someone might actually think about that last line..

About his foreign policy statements..if you agree ..Fine..
    Most dont...
And that pesky vote to support roundup of western wild Mustangs for Human food consumption..My Fav.

I'm not a friend of Senator Santorum so I'm not on a first-name basis as is classless OP but the question may be legitimate. I hope we don't have to wait until he's the President, as we did with President Obama, to find out he not only doesn't know the law but has absolutely no respect for the law if it in any way curtails his lust for power.

Yep, a real pack to choose from, huh?

It isn't a matter of "which one will screw the voter", it is "which one will do it without guilt".

How is this "baggage"? And does money contributions count as votes? I have given, but I couldn't vote in the FL primary due to being an independant. They are apples and oranges to say the votes recieved disproves monetary contributions.

    Link this one please.

At least you see my point.
Another lawyer using legal speak to defend past votes.. past corruption charges while attacking something so basic ..The
STATES rights to have a health care system THEY WANT..
That is all MASS. Romney care bill was.
A Super majority wanted it 80 % at the time and 70 % still want it today who live there.

ROMNEY got the job done and balanced his states budgets 4 years in a row and left with a 2 million dollar surplus.
That should be the debate..not who supports what , where and why .
Why any politician would attack that record is beyond reasonable.

To attack the free market as an evil enterprise is the democrats leading theme..not republicans.
So while doing some reading..look up Santorum.. not the joke ..but his history of MONEY..He was rated the 3rd most corrupt person in Congress for a reason..he went to congress broke and came out Rich..GO figure.

Peddling influence is OK if you are up front about it.
No biggie..but attacking MONEY as evil while selling yourself for it is not.
    Sell an idea..a business..not influence..
DO YOUR RESEARCH is all I ask..It's readily available..

You wanted it for Romney..be fair and do you think the dems will just not research the ultra right wingers ?

    Jobs and the economy..
    Why the diversion ?

    $ 4 dollar gas.

What if Rick wrote a real autobigraphy titled :

    - Dreams from MY Father - and had the effrontery to show
both His Birth Certificate and the necessary Naturalization
papers.I think the Libs would have a mud slinging.

Obviously you have an agenda. Obviously, your standard would leave no candidates standing.

Except your own, at which you will not point your bazooka.
