Donald Trump denies call for profiling

While it's true that he didn't say the word "muslim" during his interview with Fox & Friends, it's laughable to suggest he's making a broad statement about cops and suspicion... when viable suspicion is already a level that allows for law enforcement officers to begin investigations, and claiming otherwise is either ignorance or a lie (neither of which are great for someone seeking the Presidency). Now, if he's upset that cops can't use suspicion founded in race, ethnicity, religion & nationality... then he should've just said Muslim. Instead, the "tell it like it is" candidate is afraid to admit what he believes.

 

Cops always profile. Israel profiles air travellers successfully. The lib media tacks on extra words like Muslim or racial to make it sound bad.

Because CNN who is behind all this fuss is claiming he is defending racial profiling when his comments were in context of looking at how Israel profiles.

Perhaps research the topic a tad before starting a thread.

CNN had Inserting on purpose the word " Race " and " Racial " in
quoting Trump's call for Profliling.

 

Of course and yet again Trump fell into the trap. By discussing it is makes him look defensive and crap sites like Huffington post are going to have a field day with it trying to spin everything he says.

What he means is that profiling works and Israel is the example of success when it comes to air travel. Everyone profiles, especially liberals (deplorables) but libs try to make it politically incorrect to be normal.

What Israel uses is something we'd call offender profiling (legal), so Mr. Trump's claim that officers are handicapped (and that it must change) is either ignorance or a lie. You pick.

Second - Does anyone seriously think that the FBI, Police and so on are not paying closer attention to Muslims than to folks who are not ?

 

Same old Trump. says something that is actually ambiguous, and let's the public/media fill in the gaps, then can safely deny any of those filled gaps whilst still reaping the media attention on both sides of the statement. You're just falling into the trap again.

 

Exactly. Some people insist that our airport security treat the 80 year old Swiss grandma the same as the twenty-something young man traveling from Afghanistan named Ahmed. My admittedly deplorable thinking: pull Ahmed aside for further questions, and leave grandma alone. EVERY STINKIN time I was profiled, they were Successful. Cops once profiled some white kids. Let me explain. We said in the back of a ranchero wagon, lets LOOK suspicious. When we passed a cop.

He pulled us over, JUST FOR ACTING SUSPICIOUS. And lectured us about ACTING suspicious. We were kids out after CHURCH.

My bother, an Italian guy, has one long eyebrow and looks like one of the *911 hijackers, her really does. He gets stopped all the time at the air port and even at Yankee Stadium for the innocent, 'how are you, is everything thing ok?' deal. He laughs it off.

And if anyone here says they don't profile then I'm calling them out as a liar.

 

Profiling is not unconstitutional in the "suspicion" sense. Same with federal law. Can't answer about state law
