Donald Trump Reveals He Got Vaccine Booster Shot, Gets Booed by Tour Crowd (msn.com)

O'Reilly proceeded to tell the audience that "both the president and I are vaxxed."

"Did you get the booster?" O'Reilly then asked Trump. "Yes," Trump replied. "I got it too," O'Reilly added.

Why would they boo? It was under Trump, the vaccine was started, I cannot figure out the 2 big parties seems like they fight more than R & D's,

They booed because being anti-vax has become synonymous with populist republicanism, - at least on the surface, because many have taken the vaccine while arguing against them.

He got booed because of his anti-vax attitude, his anti-mask attitude, causing the great division between Republicans and Democrats which all contributed to unknown thousands of unnecessary deaths.

He spread constant lies about the virus, and now his base has gone even further than him on swallowing COVID lies.

In my opinion, there are two primary reasons.

    1. Trump ran for office on the foundation of not being a career politician. He said that he wouldn't have time to golf (a dig at Obama golfing) as he would be working to "clean the swamp." He promised his supporters that he would not tolerate any "swamp creatures" basically.

As a result, anything he does that gives the appearance of "joining the fray" is viewed as him breaking his promise to his voters. It doesn't really matter what <the thing> is as long as it doesn't give the appearance of fraternization with "them".

We all witnessed this many, many times. He outright refused to wear a mask, socially distance or even encourage people to call their medical care providers and ask questions.

This is why he's been piggy backing on Biden saying these people won't get vaccinated because they don't trust Biden. Biden isn't a doctor or scientist or vaccine inventor. It has nothing to do with Biden or anybody else than the people that choose to not get the vaccine.

    2. And, this one is more important. Trump is only interested in Trump. Nobody else matters and he has a serious disconnect on how his father's wealth insulated him from the every day problems non-billionaires face.

For examples, there was a delay in sending out stimulus checks because he wanted his name him. He is not going to be a food line or shelter if he misses a couple of paychecks. The average person, who was not an essential worker not only had to figure that out and deal with all the schools being closed (necessitating remote learning and around the clock "day care" for those hours the kids would normally be in school).

Trump loves the camera and he loves to boast. He was asked to participate in a televised public service announcement with all the former POTUSes getting vaccinated. He declined. Soon after he said that he and his idiot wife got vaccinated before departing the White House. I never believed that because he's a braggart.

And, because it's always all about him, he has been pushing to the vaccines renamed. He tried to do a backdoor deal with Russia (I think it was) in which he would have received partial ownership or something like that. It was NEVER about the American people getting help and back to work and kids back to school. He is an opportunist and everyone else be damned.

I don't gamble, but if I did, I would bet that he has some kind of closeted contract for some type of financial benefit for the vaccines and he can't shout that out because he has to keep the (what my first point was) people on his side.

So much for the assumption that Trump supporters are mind numbed robots.

Yes, he will because he loves getting people worked up, BUT....and this is a big one.

He said that he could shoot somebody and not lose any supporters so he's already untouchable. When push comes to shove they love his circus act. They do that weird Jedi mind trick like Fundamentalist "Love the sinner, hate the sin".

Have you seen the video or just read the article? He's right that it sounded like a very small group of people. Maybe 3 or 4. There is no explanation for why this is such big news. And by the way, it was not just started under him. It was fully developed in record time under his watch.

I took 2 jabs. The first one hurt my shoulder for a day. After the second one, I went to sleep under the two blankets. Never something like that happened to me after taking any other vaccine. But I know some people for whom corona went really nasty. So as I communicate with a lot of people I will most likely take the booster as well.

The crowd booed him because the crowd has learned much since he left office. The crowd has more common sense than he does, and that's old news.

Perhaps many in the crowd have friends and relatives that have died or been maimed by the shots? Maybe many in the crowd have read the Fauci Dossier by David Martin?

Maybe many in the crowd has read Robert Kennedy's new book about The Real Anthony Fauci and now see him as the criminal bastard he is? Maybe they like Trump better when he doesn't pretend to tell the public he knows what's good for their health?

There are many possibilities. Will Trump learn to **** about the clot shots? Maybe the crowd was unhappy to hear Trump and O'Reilly sounding just like Biden?

Trump is not anti-vax. He regularly promotes vaccines (even the COVID ones) and says that he has been double jabbed and boosted.

Masks only work for specific purposes. Stopping or slowing the spread of viruses is not one of them.

Maybe people should eat healthier diets, get adequate exercise, get outdoors in the sunlight, get adequate sleep, reduce stress, and other important immune system boosting measures.

Their cheering of other things makes me think that it was PRECISELY that.

It shows that they are free thinkers. It shows that they like a lot of what he says on most issues, but do not agree with what he is saying with regard to the covid jabs.

Your mistake is in thinking that Trump has total influence over these people. That is the lefty myth pushed for political propaganda. Trump didn't give the Jan 6th rioters their orders, couldn't have stopped them from doing what they were doing, and can't turn an anti-vaxxer into a vaxxer.

I think they were mostly booing the vaccine, not really Trump. Some that were booing Trump, I think they blame Trump as part of the reason for the mandates even if he didn't implement them. I think he would reduce this distrust by promising to fight for legislation to protect choice and prevent what occurred from ever happening again.

No not waking up. People who support Jan- are a minority. Many of the pro-jan 6 absolutely hate Trump. People didn't change their mind, they just became more silent in public or banned from social media.
