Biden's nothing to write home about, but a pet rock is better than Trump. At least a pet rock never tried to reverse an election and install itself as an unelected autocrat.

Yeah, still looks like a flop at night too when your boy started his lying propaganda fest to his flock.

I think Trump will be either in jail or convicted of insurrection by 2024. The result of the midterms won't be as bad for dems as all the pubs are claiming but it won't matter anyway. He will be facing courts and judges not his lapdog legislatures, they will act on facts not polls.

Hmmm. Rule breaking, borish, disrespectful action leads to a correction. Poster than whines, playing the victim card to the point of invoking Hitler's Germany (really?!?).
Where have I seen that sort of behaviour before.;-)

And by the way"general political chat" is the heading for the section which is broken down into categories (ie current events, opinions, elections etc...) of whihc ONE must be chosen. This could easily have gone in the opinion section which gets a fair amount of traffic, if you actually opined about the articles you cut and paste, instead of just going "yeah right on. What he said"

It was not an opinion article. It was a news article reporting on what the former President said either in an interview or during a speech. The article source listed it as news and not opinion. As to the other, there are all sorts of subtopics that just about every current events article could be placed under instead. You name the issue or the topic and there’s a place it could be relegated to obscurity in.

Trumps presidency did a great job for the nation, imo. But Trump began to fall apart near the end. Beginning with awful interruptive debates with Biden, then stirring the 1/20 protest too much, followed by accusing his Vice President Pence of being a coward for doing his job and certifying the election. And after Biden was sworn in, he was congratulated by PM Netanyahu of Israel. And Trump proceeded to publicly curse Netanyahu for simply making nice with our new President. So anyway, I'm done with Trump. I wish him well. But I could care less what he thinks anymore. He has no boundaries to contain his own ego, or respect for tradition. He's like General Patton in that he doesn't know when to stop fighting and let the dust settle. Though Patton was right and should have been allowed to invade Russia. Trump wants to destroy his own countrymen. America belongs to all Americans. And we need to work together or find a way to work together. Trump will not allow such a thing. I wish he'd go away. Just give me a good, solid, conservative Governor or Senator to vote for.

It's the same problem that has existed since the beginning. He has them convinced that any negative press (or lawsuits or mass exodus of employees, fraud cases, etc.) is just a witch hunt. Had he been not so weak and thin-skinned he wouldn't have fired everybody that was honest with him. There was no widespread election fraud. He's just an incompetent loser that can't face that fact and apparently they struggle with that as well.

Even other Republicans are tired of him soiling his diaper in public. And, these are the people that have the audacity to say that black and brown people "need to get over it" when their loved ones are killed by bigoted rogue cops. The Orange Stain isn't even dead and we all get to witness his mental health breakdown for how long?

Are these billable hours? WTH? He's pathetic and a traitor so he can go <censoring myself>.

Let’s go Brandon is the bust here. “I did that” photos of Brandon stickers are showing up on gas pumps and at supermarkets all over America.

They are? Not sure which gas pumps and supermarkets you shop at, but the only Brandon garb I see are on the losers that spend their money on that trash rather than proving for their families.

Unhinged, wannabe dictator idiot continues being unhinged, wannabe dictator idiot. No one can continue to support this man without having an outright hatred for the Constitution and or elections or volunteering for the lobotomies necessary to believe in his braindead conspiracy theories. Back in the 2016, I defended people for voting for him as the lesser of two evils. I can no longer do that. 2020 and January 2021 proves he's the biggest threat to democracy that our country faces. You can support elections or you can support Trump. You can't do both.

In the real world they are everywhere

Saw a sign someone put by the roadside near my house today saying "Biden Must Go"

I criticize the Trumpers for the election denials, but the liberal's denials are at least matching or exceeding that when so many keep saying Trump won't win 2024 and that the Biden admin is anything but a disaster

Yeah, I see those lame stickers every now and then. But only in shithole sections of town. The nicer areas of Vegas takes pride on how they look and they remove those lame stickers when some ****stick puts one on a pump.

The diehard RINOs of Trumpery are very pissy about conservative Republicans of integrity who refuse to swallow the Big Lie, are disgusted by the Loser's goons attacking police defending democracy, and kiss the Loser's Big Bum.

It makes for some hilarious lines! E.g.,

Donald Trump: 'I just want to find 11,780 votes',
Go for it Donnie Boy ...lol

"Georgia breaks first-day early voting record, nearly doubles figure from last midterms"

    Source: CNBC

"Turnout from Georgia's first day of early voting set a new state record for a midterm election, nearly doubling the figure from the same time period in the previous midterms, state election officials said Tuesday.

More than 131,000 Georgia voters cast ballots since early voting began Monday, according to the office of Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. The figure represents an 85% boost over the 2018 midterms, when nearly 71,000 early votes were cast on Day One, the office said.

Georgia's latest tally is also nearly as large as the state's first day of early voting in the 2020 presidential election — 136,739 in that contest versus 131,318 in the current cycle, Raffensperger's office said. Turnout tends to be much higher when the presidency is on the ballot.

Absentee ballots cast Monday totaled 11,759, bringing Georgia's total turnout so far to 143,077, the office said."

Apparently he would rather see Abrams in office. The sensibility of that escapes me but we all know Trump is not good at politics.

Last I checked, the government was rightest at the time all that was decided...

Maybe the real answer is, we aren't as prepared for pandemics as we should be, and unless we want to tolerate mass casualties, we should find effective solutions that minimize the spread while minimizing the impacts to society. But that would be a reasonable statement, so...
