Dr. Fauci saying what I've been saying forever here; long-term organ damage

The deniers like to say that Covid-19 has a small death toll. Like I've been posting forever, the death toll is ONE aspect of the pandemic but not the only one. Long-term organ damage for survivors, including young and healthy people with mild cases, is a real concern.

    https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/dr-fauci-just-warned-scary-173504219.html

Who is healthier than a college athlete? Still, 15% of them showed up with the heart issue.

That is worse than what I've been saying, actually. Being prudent in my statements, I've been talking of 10% of survivors having long-term consequences. This heart issue alone seems to account for at least 15%, more than 10%, regarding just one organ.

Like Fauci said, the way to avoid this, is to avoid catching the virus in the first place. But no, the deniers will say that it's just a little flu and a Democratic hoax that will go away on November 4th... oh wait, November 4th was more than two weeks ago, and the virus is at a peak worse than in the spring... so much for the Democratic hoax.

Any virus can cause the same organ damage, particularly heart damage and strokes. Scientists have know this for years.

Now don't be bringing sanity into a perfectly good panic! It only makes the panicked more panicky, leading to a meltdown of their internal organs, particularly the brain. LOL

There is another aspect that I have not yet seen covered but I suspect that it will be once the cases start to appear.

Viruses that compromise the immune systems have been associated with cancers like multiple myeloma. The HIV virus has been associated with cervical cancer and non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.

Given that we know that Covid19 does compromise the immune system in serious cases it is possible that mild cases set people up to be vulnerable to cancers.

Yes, this is speculation on my part but Dr Fauci's advice to avoid catching the virus means not setting oneself up for what could be serious health issues.

Not in these numbers, dear. And I *am* a scientist...
Do you actually think that the flu can cause myocarditis in 60% of survivors like in the German study, or 15% of healthy college athletes? Dream on... But I'm used to your obfuscation.

And pray tell, how is that an argument to NOT be prudent around THIS virus, which not only does what other viruses do, but much more often?

Are you actually questioning my sanity in medical matters? LOL

By the way, I'd rather question the sanity of people who are dying of Covid-19, according to that nurse who said it on TV, and still say it can't be happening because it's a hoax. As in, their last words. The nurse said, instead of facetiming with family to say their goodbyes, they are raging about the hoax while dying of it...

The insane ones are the deniers.

Very valid speculation. We don't know yet what the full list of long-term consequences of this pandemic will be, since it's only about one year old. I've been addressing this as well in multiple posts, regarding the Epstein-Barr virus (mononucleosis), once considered benign, but then later associated with late consequences involving several autoimmune diseases and several cancers including Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's lymphomas.

Great, a sermon from the pulpit of The Church of The Poisoned Mind!

Doesn't life cause long term organ damage?
