Hmm, after about 10 mins, I had to skip around, I couldn't find any actual philosophy or paradoxes (other than the classic liar's paradox of course) was it mostly just artistic critique? Or were there philosophical points being made?
I gave up on it, too. I'm familiar with Strangelove, but I fail to see how this guy adds anything to my understanding of it.
I do have a theory on WHY we humans are living within paradox that is within paradox within paradox! Bruce F. MacDonald Ph. D.: Yup.... that is Rabbi Yeshua / Jesus teaching his disciples ideas that were cut.... by Cephas / Peter and the gang of directors who produced the Christian Bible / New Testament and technically they were wise..... because the people who directed the Dark Ages... were not ready for the really heavy stuff that Rabbi Yeshua / Jesus also taught. Basically.... we humans are far, far, far, far, far, far, far more powerful than we want to imagine......... We humans have the power to change the future...... radically..... but we spend far too much of our precious time fighting over relatively less important ideas and problems. https://www.near-death.com/science/research/future.html#a03
I knew the bloke who wrote the original Dr Strangelove (the film was much better). He had been a Battle of Britain pilot and was, at the time, devoting himself to drink. I was on fire picket one night and the bell rang at the gate, but it wasn't my job to do anything about it, so I went back to sleep. Unfortunately everyone else was pissed out of his mind after a Station dance.. After waiting five minutes or so, the Pilot Officer charged the gate and broke it down. The next day, as agreed. It was discovered that he had left the brake off while the S, actually flat out in the cell, was patrolling the camp. The only thing that might give pause, was the car had managed, from a standing start, to run tree feet uphill. Paradox problem all explained?
