The human mind is attracted to details. The pair of eyes looking out from the undergrowth could threaten your existence. Joe Biden wanting to fight a Detroit factory worker reveals his true nature. Big stuff can also be significant, and despite all that junk about January 6th, the public will focus on the big stuff: Interest rates are rising and companies are carrying big debts - companies could start falling like dominos. The war in Ukraine. Despite liar Biden's speech, we know Biden was pushing Zelenskyiii into 'poking the bear' during his November phone call assuring Zelenskyiii of US support in crossing Putin's 'red line.' And NATO has been creeping ever closer to Russia since 1999.
Russia wanted peace and dismantled the Warsaw Pact, Whoever is in charge of the Western World expanded NATO up to Russia's border and has increased spending on new weapons.
I guess NATO will take Belarus and then broadcast Russia attempting to repel the invasion as 'Russian Aggression'.
The Warsaw Pact disintegrated because all the members except the USSR/Russia got out as soon as they could. Then they all sought NATO membership for protection against Russia.
Biden knew about the provocation because he was involved in it. But he lied about it in a speech on Feb 24th. There's an interesting bit of political science, the human behavior part which I find most interesting, happening all around in Political Forum right now, as the Democrat leader has failed miserably. Biden's failures have left some Democrats trying to justify actions and reasoning that really can not be justified.
There's a thread here in the Political Science sub-forum titled: 'Is it possible to change your opinion?' It is pretty difficult once you've expressed an opinion to others and therefore staked your intelligence and leadership reputation on the opinion you expressed. In his Feb 24th remarks, Biden lied by claiming the Russian attack was 'unprovoked'. That was a powerful and great-sounding speech but had a flaw I consider serious of being untrue. Unfortunately, once the public has come on board with that speech, they will probably never be able to give it up until their dying day. That's human nature and a crucial part of political science: 'He who lies first lies best.'
The thread title 'Dying in Details' is based on the Democratic Party making much of Jan 6th, which will likely turn out to be nothing. Meanwhile, the Democrats are failing to stop the egregious errors their President is making, errors leading to both war and inflation. Right now, the Democratic Party is dying while focusing on details.
What if in a few month's time: Jan 6th fizzles out Gasoline prices and inflation are still high The war in Ukraine gets even bigger The public realizes Biden was lying and the US has been stoking the war in Ukraine since 2014? That should leave Biden with an approval rating of 0%. I was an independent, registered as Democrat, but I think Biden has made me see the light.
Certainly not perfect. And the West's game is even worse. It may be that Vlad's mistake came as a result of being in charge for so long and collecting like-minded people around him, much like the well-publicized mistake of the US military in the Bay of Pigs invasion - 'group-think.' They all thought it would be easy and they were wrong. And the US thinking was that Putin would give one more warning before doing anything, and indeed he should have, but for some reason, he didn't.
It is unfortunate that nations like their leaders to take strong action, and the number of Russian-speaking citizens of the Donbas region being killed put pressure on Putin to take immediate strong action. But in hindsight, they would have protected the citizens of Eastern Ukraine sooner by negotiating. I think Zelenskyiii would have been grateful to Putin for offering to rescue the citizens of Donbas, and they could have solved the problem together.
I think of it like someone is drowning in a pool and the two lifeguards come down and are fighting each other instead of rescuing the victim.
The first lifeguard was the US which has been heavily involved in the Ukraine since 2014. And rather than help Russian-speaking citizens of Eastern Ukraine, instead, the US has been shipping more weapons to the other side: Kyiv and Azov. The weapons were sent to allow Kyiv to fight the other possible rescuer, Russia. There are two ways to save the citizens of Donbas: 1 have them leave, 2. secure a border between Azov and Donbas. It might end up looking like Russia saved the day if Azov and Donbas were separated, so I bet the US will step up the war. And claim the war is saving lives. And maybe send a mobile hospital or two over to prove it.
Having been stopped in the Middle East, a US led NATO returned to Europe and carried on with its regime changes and interfering in civil wars. It was either Russia or China, because these are the two major powers that are stopping the US from controlling the world. Outside the US, very few are cheering for a US led world order.
Just like Joe Biden having to keep things short, because Democrats aren't detailed, but also, his mind is going. They can't be detailed, or they'd expose their own lies. Plus, keeping things vague, helps keep their voters ignorant to the truth.
Yes, the two parties can not be the same, The Democrats claim they care about people and the Republicans only care about money. But both are run by money and therefore care about money. So the Republicans are telling the truth and the Democrats are lying. The Republicans can do things like measure inflation and such, and be honest about it. The Democrats pretend to help poor people but don't. Instead, they spend money on meaningless projects and create corruption.
I see, Joe is looking at us from the undergrowth that could threaten my existence? Rather odd considering I don't think Joe hangs out in the undergrowth.
