https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3D0DxjgPB0 Austerity chumps forgot how we got here it seems. It is hard to remember but not that long ago, the only thing that mattered was the deficit. The deficit, the deficit, the deficit. We have had many right wing hallucination induced faux issues to deal with since then but for a long, long time, it was the deficit. Now, its ebola. NIH testified that cuts to their budgets made them do triage on expenditures and cut back on Ebola research and prevention. I can see the howls from the deficit hawks had they continued to fund Ebola research when the only people it affected were in Africa. Now that it has hit the self-proclaimed heart of Amurica, out come the howling banshees talking about how incompetent the NIH is...this ad hits them right between the eyes and I love it.
You may want to go to the other threads that show you all the (*)(*)(*)(*) NIH wastes money on other that Ebola research before you hop up on your soapbox You guys will fall for anything
I am sure you are an expert in the line by line budget of the NIH and the CDC. I know, how about we ask the Surgeon General to look into it? What? We don't have one? Why? Because the NRA didn't like him making a plea to stop gun violence. The right wing is going to end up destroying themselves, all the people need to hear is the truth.
Why not? Trolling doesn't get far. An ad of slice and dice video clips of government employees wanting higher taxes, higher deficit, higher spending, higher debt, and more, always more, for them and whining. What it did was make me lean toward believe Ebola is no more dangerous than swine flu, bird flu, killer bees, fire ants, and don't forget global "the sky is falling" warming. I almost forget that by now, everyone in the U.S. was going to have AIDS. But, millions killed by malaria and who cares. Almost none were in the U.S.
