They should apologize for killing the innocent Egyptians. And Egypt should ensure a better border protection. They should not apologize for the remarks, last time I checked the Egyptian politicians blamed Israel for virtually every problem that exists without any right or truth behind it.

The agreement (Camp David) prevent the Egyptians from the full control on their borders, so the responsibility of securing the border is not only the responsibility of Egypt This is not a justification for killing of the innocents I think they wanted to explore the nature of the Egyptian reaction

As far as the OP is concerned - a joint investigation is in progress and there is no reason to jump to absurd conclusions. Even if they were killed by israeli bullets (which is yet to be confirmed) there is no doubt in any sane person's mind that it was a case of friendly fire. Israel should and will apologize once it's established, it has absolutely nothing to gain by deliberately targeting Egyptians soldiers. Of course I don't expect the perpetually angry arab street (so well represented by the OP) to be sane or have common sense, they are too brainwashed and blinded by their hatred and prejudices. (blaming shark attacks in Egyptian waters on Israel leaps to mind)

I think the announcment was "show regret for the death of the soldiers" or something like that, their death is truly sad, they probebly were in a situation they couldnt break free from, It does require your more twisted side to accuse Israel rather than the terrorists that actually took over the posts and shot from there, try to answer that please. About Israeli society, we have many racists both religous and secular, some idiots and an occesional ******** but the majority are CHOSEN like me, kidding , normal ppl that want to live in peace aside to their neighbors, if Hamas would not have destroyed the peace process we had during Arafat and Rabin with suicide bombing each passing day - we might have had peace already including dividing Jerusalem.
