This war started before there were "Palestinians." They didn't adopt the "Palestinian" identity until the 1960s, before that they were just Arabs. Secondly, there is no country of Palestine, and there has NEVER been one. So no, Palestine didn't start the war.. Arabs did. And Arab leaders from the 1940s were pretty open about that fact

 

And back to denial and revisionist history, ever heard of the Mandate For Palestine? But keep denying that the indigenous people who lived in Palestine did not have a distinct culture!
