Elizabeth Warren: Dems must "stand up and fight"
    http://www.cnn.com/2014/10/23/politics/elizabeth-warren-interview/index.html

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Elizabeth Warren, a Democrat whom many Democrats would like to see make a run for president in 2016 speaks to Democrats' need to stand up and fight for what the Democratic Party is all about. In some areas, Democrats have not been so vocal about the principles they stand for and Elizabeth is out there state-hopping working to rectify that concern and help Democratic candidates as well for retention of the U.S. Senate.

She is also a good fundraiser for the Democratic Party raising millions of dollars for them.

She stresses that rich Republicans can only become more wealthy as poorer Americans remain stymied with their lack of resources.

This lady isn't interested in helping out the common man, as FDR called him. Or if she is, she is not intelligent enough to have a grasp on reality. For the dems are almost as bad as the Neoliberals when it comes to Casino Capitalism and globalized Neo Feudalism. The answer for the common people, hundreds of millions of them does not lie in the current democratic party, and certainly not in the Neoliberals in the republican party. And she is an utter fool to think otherwise. So, she either isn't serious about the common man, or she cannot grasp reality. Which makes her moot if the concern is for the average American.

Liz is a good old fashioned Populist. We haven't had one of those for several cycles and whether you agree with her or not, it's a refreshing change from the spineless, Centerist that modern Democrats have become. She is no further left than most Tea Party candidates are to the right.

Fair Warning, the GOP can ignore her at their own risk. While Populist messages may now sound as lonely shouts in the wilderness, both Roosevelts, one Republican and one Democrat, rode the Populist message into office and became two of the most popular presidents in history. Further the seeds of both of those campaigns were rooted in social-economic times similar to our present state. Liz might be just a little puff ball on a clear day or she just might be the leading edge of a coming storm.

She will most certainly be an interesting player to watch

How come Democrats always want to fight someone rather than actually get things done?

She is an idiot who like Obama only has words.

I don't remember her saying anywhere that she opposes Republican casino capitalism but is in favor of Democratic casino capitalism. I think Warren would gladly off both of 'em if given an opportunity.

Whether she has a grasp of YOUR reality or not, she's going to be formidable.

Words are pretty important in politics, wouldn't you agree? We haven't elected a mute president yet.

Obama is also a two term President. FDR won 4 terms and Teddy came close to winning a 3rd term as a 3rd party candidate. Apparently words have power in politics.

She actually got legislation passed that helps all Americans. Therefore you are wrong.

What else would they possibly have? Are you being stupid?

Don't know who you are or what age group you're in but if you are a college student, then her efforts to help refinance your loan on your college education debt is one very important bill that Senator Warren has championed and introduced that should rightfully become law.

Aside from that, here are some of her other fine accomplishments:

Elizabeth Warren is the best the Dems have to offer. Of course Republicans won't like her, but she is a much better choice than Clinton all around. Clinton is just another cog in the machine, more of the same entrenched establishment that has (*)(*)(*)(*)ed everybody for so long. Warren, although she may not always have the right answers, at least asks the right questions, and I think her heart is in the right place. If she is nominated, I would probably vote for her over anyone expect Rand Paul, but if Hillary Clinton is nominated, I would vote for whoever is running against her. We need to clean up the corruption, and until we do that, all other things can go on the back burner. Rand Paul and Warren are the only candidates that actually challenge the corruption.

Those presidents are why people placed term limits on the presidential runs. Because they were bad presidents.

The claim was she passed legislation that helped ALL AMERICANS. Well I am an American. That not only did not help me it will hurt me when I as one on the top 10% of taxpayers has to pick up the tab.
How did that help me, don't need a leveling I stand on my own merits and accomplishments.

If you want an idiot in the Senate I guess.

And that storm is coming, it is inevitable.

I thought Reagan appealed to populism as did FDR. But when a conservative gets elected by this means, unlike a progressive like FDR, the nation goes down the tubes. People thought Reagan would help them out, but he helped to bring in the oligarchy as it allowed the repubs to come back into greater power and influence. My take on it.

Teddy roosevelt was a very good president by my standards, he built/controlled the Panama Canal, won the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts in ending the Russo-Japanese war.

He believed that immigrants should leave their heritage behind."You're an American now"

He believed in equal rights. (He didn't believe instantly making everyone equal was the answer, he said it needed time for people to adjust to the situation)

He was extremely intelligent.(knew multiple languages)

He was extremely Nationalistic, he believed America had to be strong among the countries of the world.

She is Obama's mini me. No one wants another Obama. I would much rather see her as the nominee than Hillary.

Clinton does not emulate Obama. Remember what she said during the elections between Obama and her. However, Senator Warren is not running in 2016 as she has said. But she will be supporting Hillary Clinton in that year. Perhaps after Clinton takes the White House she can appoint Senator Warren to her cabinet. That would be a great idea! Or perhaps she could be Clinton's vice-presidential running mate. What a Hot and Winning TEAM that would be!!

Says the man in the mirror ROFL.

Try again. The claim was she passed legislation that helped ALL AMERICANS. Well I am an American. That not only did not help me it will hurt me when I as one on the top 10% of taxpayers has to pick up the tab. It is predicted that the student loan bubble will be worse than the mortgage bubble and when it burst the taxpayers like myself will have to pick up the tab, so how exactly has she helped me?

I'm sorry. I was trying to say(probably not very succinctly) that Warren is Obama's mini me. Clinton and Obama strongly dislike each other, but Obama needed Bill's support and Hillary needs Obama's support for the presidency. Personally he wants Warren. Maybe she will be persuaded. Libs don't like Hillary very much.
