When We Get To Heaven, It Is Widely Believed That We Will Be Dwelling With The Lamb Of God And His Holy Angels: With This In Mind How Much Are You Going To Enjoy Heaven When It Makes It Clear In Revelation 14:10 That Your View From Heaven Will Be Of Men Being Burned For Ever In The Lake Of Fire. This Torment To Men, Is Stated To Happen In The Presence Of The Holy Angels And The Lamb. Have Fun As You Watch Your Friends And Relatives Burn For Ever. Stay Cool In Your Heavenly Mansion, And Watch The Show. Please Respond
Not to scare you away from the forum, but a few things: Everyone on this forum are aware of nasty Bible quotes. What are we supposed to "respond" to? What's up with capitalizing every word? That must be quite annoying to do. Wasn't there another poster who did that? People in general don't answer to people who wish to guilt trip them.
Thanks as i am enjoying 'heaven'. But your idea is like a person sitting on the hill, watching ww3 and nuclear war destroying the cities and a huge portion of mankind, while eating popcorn, just happy as heck.
According to some Christians here, I will not go to heaven. ...nor would I want to rub shoulders with them for eternity, I do not deserve such punishment! lol
We watch other human beings die all the time. How many times do we get to watch "highlights" from wars on the news and other sources on the internet? Death is as common as life in this world. So, watching people burn in Hell or watching people burn on Earth (just an example) wouldn't really be different. I will enjoy Heaven though, thank you. Insha'Allah I'll get to go Salam
I have often chastized atheists for non=contextual quotation and being too lazy to look things up, and I see that this pattern of laziness and blind devotion to whatever the read on the collective sites continues. "A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, 10 they, too, will drink the wine of Gods fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name. 12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus." (Revelations 14:9-12) Now that is just a slight bit diffrent than what you wrote is it not? Do you worship the beast? Would you continue to reject God even if he showed himself? Then there is the concept of hell, and why atheists reject this, as least in general is beyond me. Hell is consequence. If you live your life committing vile and evil acts, what do you think should happen to such a person? Nothing? Oh, but atheists who reject God don't like being told they are going to hell, apparently its rude. However, atheists don't believe in hell, so being told you are going to go there should have the same meaning as being told you are going to get on a magic space ship and be taken to Russell's tea pot floating in outer space. Instead, as we see time and again, we see atheists take great umbrage and self righteous sanctimony as if hell is all about putting them down. It's nothing but a club, a tool, to bash other people - something deliberately misinterpeted, exaggerated, and packaged in disgust - and that my friends is quite rood. So I wonder why so many atheists preach it?
In the OP. http://richarddawkins.net/articles/...e-people-who-will-roast-in-hell-says-cardinal You preach it all the time Stroll. Exactly as I stated above. Maybe you should respond to the points rather than as if your honor were being challenged?
lols, hell isn't "preached" in the OP, nor do I preach "hell", what an absurd and deluded claim. Oh well, full moon tonight, I guess...
I think it's time you recognize that all those times he's written about it, and when a lot of atheists write about a lot of stuff you get upset about, they're being sarcastic, they preach it in a ridiculous manner to get others to understand how ridiculous it is.
I think its time you recognize that many, many atheists have written about hell in a manner that is victimizing and accusatory and totally ignores the reality of Hell as we preach it. How many times have you seen atheists advance the premise that our faith is fear based? With Hell as central to this concept? True though it might be that there are indeed a few fire and brimestone preachers out there, anyone who is ever remotely familiar with the faith knows that the vast majority of Christians adhere to the principles of Jesus, which is the opposite of Hell, and merely accept that it is there in reality - just like heaven and God. Its nothing more than mocking, and, quite frankly, atheists are appaear unable to have an adult, logic based discussion about the actual premise of hell. How many times do you think I have asked atheists about the concept of consequence only to have the same atheists skip right over the question? Inevitably, I, and those who attempt to advance the actual concept of Hell, are charged with simply bigotry for not just accepting the atheist version of Hell which hates atheism. Again, it is an emotional, not logical position, that drives this atheist stance on Hell. The premise of Hell, that there are consequences for out actions both in this life and after, is hardly an unjust consideration. After all I rarely see atheists ramble on about being reincarnated as a worm, which the oft seen intolerance and accusation, will earn them anyway. But you don't believe in reincarnation - but Hell? See the point yet?
By all means, prove that the premise of Hell, of their being consequences for porr behavior and wanton cruelty is a bad concept? Go ahead.
You have a point there. We all experience "hell" here on earth whether it be personal experience or watching it happen to others, so the existence of a "hell" in the next life is impossible why exactly? So the question should be, why is their suffering?
Yes, when people respons to standard atheist internet flaming and baiting, they are preaching. The attempt to stop deliberate miseducation is preaching to an atheist? So be it. Doesn't change the fact that you are, like always, avoiding a substantie discussion on the subject. When you can't use it as a club it loses interest? Is that how is works? And atheists, is this your idea of objective, honest, logic based discussion? where are your coveted objective standards now?
Setting aside the vitriol, accusations and lack of humour, your understanding of "preaching" is muddled, I have already linked to 2 definitions - read them.
I don't know what is heaven, but I sure know what is hell. Go to PortAventura Park in Spain in August. You wait 2 hours for a ride of 30 sec in 40C no shade provided, 100% hummidity cramped shoulder to shoulder with many others and you see far a way people having fun on that ride.
I Don't Feel That I Have Given Any Nasty Quote On The Bible, Just An Observation, That Does Not Make Much Sense. What I Was Asking A Response To Is On This Concept Of This Unthinkable Scenario. This Was Not Meant To Guilt Trip Anyone, It Was Just A Question. No I Am Definitely Not An Athiest!
Please I Need Someone To Reply Directly To My Question. Also, Since All Christians Are To Be With The Lord And The Angels In Heaven, Then, They Will Still Experience Being In The Presence Of The Tortured Souls In The Lake Of Fire, Even Though, It States That These Souls Are The Ones That Have Worshiped The Beast. Does It Not Also State That All Souls Of The (*)(*)(*)(*)ed Are Also Going To The Lake Of Fire? If There Is Some One Out There That Knows Anything About The Bible, And Is Not ??????????????
